  1. Minimal damage, now time for offense to stop sucking.
  2. White Sox no hits in the first three innings for third consecutive game.
  3. Appearently Gordon was this close from being sent down to minors last year but Ozzie stood behind him and wanted him on the big league club.
  4. The White Sox might be playing to fire Ozzie. I mean look at them.
  5. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 11:13 AM) walk Thank you, was on the phone. Omar Vizquel is giving Quentin a run for Sox best player right now, depends on how much you value defence.
  6. Peavy throws side session 40+ pitches, with 'near game like intensity' - what does that even mean? Anyway, rehab start Friday.
  7. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 24, 2011 -> 09:58 AM) if we are going to have an extra OFer, can't it at least be in LF helping pierre out Good eye, blame Padilla!

  9. Called strike 3 to end the game? About sums it up.
  10. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Apr 23, 2011 -> 02:25 PM) Edwin looks like sh#t again. He has no slider. Without it he's just fastball and he walks the planet. Yup, its the NL Arizona Dbacks Edwin we got today, def not the AL Detroit Tigers Edwin form 09.

  13. I completely agree with above and I think it comes from the fact that our farm is so s***ty, any decent looking prospects is viewed as next Babe Ruth.
  14. Does the sickness has anything to do with eye sight? You completely missed the optimism thread.
  15. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 22, 2011 -> 11:48 PM) For the record, I'm getting frustrated too, but the optimist in me is saying that a lot of this pain is natural and to be expected and that some of it is phantom pain or Peavy being extra cautious. It's like when you sprain your ankle and shortly there after you kinda land on it awkwardly, but not really that awkwardly, and you think you may have re-sprained your ankle but really that's just your brain playing tricks on you. Well I'm kinda wondering if Jake isn't feeling some of that and he's just noticing pain that he never noticed before - not that it wasn't there, but that he is more cognizant of it now - and is just being weary of reporting anything and everything and coming off when it isn't comfortable because he wants like hell to get back to Chicago to help this team win ballgames. Of course, the pessimist in me is saying that the Sox will be 17 games back by the time Peavy is ready and he's going to be garbage and throw it underhanded because he can't throw it overhanded, but he'll strike out Butch Heddo and the Sox will make a miraculous comeback and only finish 6 games out for the division crown. Agree add to that the whole drama about him not being vocal enough and pitching through pain last year, add to that that media these days is reporting EVERYTHING..
  16. Padilla is saying delay but most likely gets played.
  17. Pierre LF, Vizquel SS, Quentin RF, Konerko 1B, Dunn DH, Rios CF, Pierzynski C, Beckham 2B, Morel 3B. Buehrle P
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 21, 2011 -> 07:40 PM) Are the Hawks playing tonight? Yup, game starting now.
