QUOTE (Issacar @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 03:02 PM) Why do I have the impression thaty ou guys are fleecing the CPU teams? We are, trust me. If I wasn't planning on turning off CPU trading by season 1's end, I would have reversed probably half of these deals, including some of my own. So I decided to allow people to go crazy until that point, get it out of their system, and then lock it down. Only rule is not to go over $5M cash limit on trades.

Major league team: Gordon Beckham I would of picked Viciedo, but his potential is pretty much just a big HR slugger, which he seems to be not that far off from. He is at least improving in that direction. Beckham, however, had the potential to be the best 2B of the decade. Solid power, great average, decent speed, great defense. If he kept improving from 2009, he would be up there with the Pedroia's and Cano's and Kinslers in baseball. Minor league team: Chris Beck Beck was supposed to be a top 10, even top 5 draft pick. His senior year he put on muscle mass, fell off a bit, and dropped in the draft. Would be AWESOME if he can turn back in to that top 5 pick and him and Sale can be our future 1-2 punch for the future.

Make sure you guys are POSTING your TRADES as well. Just looking through the league headlines, I see the Yankees traded away Chamberlain, and the Yankees traded for Hanrahan, and then the Rangers traded for Rasmus, Rangers trade for Wainwright, and Orioles got Parra. Post them so we can firstly, see who has changed teams, or who has added players, and secondly so I can see that no one is trading more than $5M in any trade.

QUOTE (juddling @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 01:16 PM) The board should be impressed with this deal. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim offer Juan Rivera RF-30 (81) Kelvim Escobar SP-32 (87) to the Detroit Tigers for Magglio Ordonez RF-35 (87) following this thread i guess i should think crazy and start my 12 for 12 player trades....... Ha, just make sure when you do, you don't trade more than $5M to the computer! Reversing bigruss' 20 person trade was a real pain.

For some reason the league simmed again. I wonder if maybe because you can't change the sim times within an hour of the next sim? Not really sure, but it's now April 12th. Sorry about that, guys. Oh well, it only was about 6-7 games. It says the next simulation is in 12 hours, so it should be good now, I hope.

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Dec 17, 2012 -> 02:43 AM) Payroll: $77.9M Budget: $87.6M Limit: $91.6M Hmmmmmm.....That's really weird. So when you click the FREE AGENTS list on the left side, it won't let you sign any? I have no idea why that would be, but if you want, you can PM me the list of players you want, and at what amount of years, and I can sign them and place them on your team.

Ok, so because the season has technically "started", you can just sign Free Agents at the price they are asking. You don't have to put in offers. If this was the offseason, you would bid for them, but since the season is started, you can sign freely. I will try not to run the FA market dry before everyone else logs on, but I will be picking up a couple guys to fill my team.
