To me, a good compromise would have been to let spring training end as it was like last year--that's consistent. But if they wanted to change the policy about travel during the season, or clubhouse time, then that's fair too. If LaRoche couldn't deal with that, that's on him.

Maybe we'll hear from Ventura on Friday about this. Hopefully the campaign of the players to convince him to come back will go nowhere. It's a s***ty story. Nobody looks good here at all.
