The only way Danks would be in my outfield plans for 2010 is if we were able to sign a vet like Xavier Nady, Randy Winn or Mike Cameron to a under market value one year contract like Abreu signed last year. That way we could start Danks in Double A and put him on a similar schedule that Beckham was on last year. There is way to much to lose with just giving him the starting rightfield spot.

I would try to put together a package for Joey Votto. It made no sense when the Reds passed over Beckham to draft Yonder Alonso. Votto and Alonso are very similar players and i can't see either playing the outfield. The Reds have a monster hole at shortstop with no starter in the majors and no prospects either. I would offer them a package of Alexei, Hudson and a 2nd tier prospect.

In 4 years I'd love to see a line-up of RF- Danks 3B- Beckman LF- Quentin 1B- Allen DH- Viciedo SS- Ramirez C- Flowers 2B- Getz Cf- Mitchell I know it's highly unlikely all the prospects reach their potential but if they do we're set up for a great decade of baseball.

I'd be tempted to help the cubs :fthecubs in trying to get peavy by trading prospects for derosa. he would look great batting6th (maybe 2nd) plus he could play 2nd, 3rd, or rf depending on what we need.

don't forget aaron cunningham for richar. in a couple of years i have a feeling that will be one of his worst ones.

hopefully next year we'll be looking back and being thankfully for jordan danks.... are there any more sons left?

i really don't see how the twins could get Yunel Escobar the braves are don't want to include him in the peavy talks how could the twins get him?

What about Chin-lung Hu from the Dodgers? Rumor is they want to re-sign Furcal and their system is full of middle infield prospects that have passed him by. It may be a classic Kenny move.
