Hopefully the Sox can pull this off. There would be nothing better than squeezing into the playoffs just in time for a healed carlos Quentin to return to the lineup. I'm just really bummed that we will have to watch all these games played without him. I wish him the best, and hope for a speedy and full recovery.

I think this is greatly exagerated. OC is right in the middle of any victory celebration there is. I have acutally mentally noted on a couple different occassions how OC acutally seemed to be the happiest guy on the team after a big hit by someone other than himself. I don't buy the garbage that he is disliked by the team. I'm sure there are times he get under people's skin.... but in a way didn't the Sox need that?

Did anyone notice after the game ended yesterday when they showed the players in the Sox dugout it appeared to me that several of them were staring at the Rangers who were on the field? I noticed Don Cooper, I think pretty boy Gavin, Thome and especially Quentin doing this. The thing that really struck me was that this was a good minute or two after the game was over. Generally the guys just head right into the clubhouse after a tough loss. But I really got the feeling they were angry about something. Just curious if anyone else noticed this, and if so any idea what it could have been about?
