Twins announcers saying that Freddy works quickly.

Huge Win for us! Love that we came back, especially when there were people on here saying "We won't score again" after being down 6-4

QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Jul 11, 2010 -> 12:31 AM) Did you pay for the higher streaming? I think it is $20. I can't afford the TV package. Yeah I have the "Next Def" thing or whatever they call it. The quality is good and it actually has a DVR on it where I can pause and go back into the game. But like I said, it has its choppy moments.

I have it right now and think its pretty solid. I actually run it through into my TV. There are some moments where it freezes and I only get audio, but for the price, I think its worth it.

This is fun!

Very defiant press conference here with LeBron..............being a d***
-
Lots of pitches for Buehrle through 3.......makes Danks' outing yesterday even that much bigger.

Did Hawk just say, "Picking cherries...like a bowl full of cherries"???

Anyone think we won't score again???

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 05:03 PM) Outstanding signing at 5 mil per. Dude can fill it up from deep. We are quickly becomming the Utah Bulls. You know what though....We could be the 4th seed and get the first real crack at knocking out Miami. The UC would be on fire!

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:22 AM) Gilbert should have left it at the letter. Now hes hanging himself with his own rope. Miami will be good, but I think that there can be some interesting strategies to use against them depending on their ultimate line up. I think the Celtics can hang. And everyone is giving the Heat the championship right now......I still don't know how they stop Kobe and Gasol. None of the 3 they signed are able to do that.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:16 AM) If Kobe's team meets that team in the NBA finals and he somehow beats them... you know he will be heavily thrown around with Jordan as the GOAT alot with this crazy media. I know I know............That would be a worse case scenario, but a very likely one.

Gilbert is going off............. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5365793

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Jul 9, 2010 -> 12:09 AM) The only person's repuatation that has improved in all of this is Pat Riley. The man really IS a god. Can't believe he got them to agree to this. Has done EVERYTHING RIGHT. check that. . . Kobe's popularity has improved exponentially tonight as well. If he can slay the 3 headed dragon then he will be America's hero. Yeah, Kobe is now going to be a hero to many. I'm very perplexed right now. I hate Kobe but what these 3 did isn't right. They are taking the easy way. Who do I root for?

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:59 PM) "I hope there's people, outside of Cleveland fans, that are on Dan Gilbert's side" I'm sure there are many. There are literally millions.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:46 PM) If you had asked me, would I ever agree with Cleveland radio, I would have undoubtedly said, No I will never agree. But I agree entirely. Lebron could have been the chosen one. He could have won in NY, he could have won in NJ, he could have won in Cleveland. Thats how respected he was a player, that people thought he could have won everywhere. So he becomes a free agent and he has a chance to play for 1) his home town team, 2) to play for the team he loved as a kid and his idol played for, 3) to play in New York where he has an affection for and could have become the man in NY forever. Instead he chooses the Miami option, teaming up with Wade and Bosh, where Wade is the man. I expected more. Why? Because Lebron was just that good. I would watch Cavs games and root for them in playoffs because Lebron was the man. I just cant see myself rooting for Miami, Id rather root for the Lakers. Id never root for the Celtics haha Anyway, I think that Lebron is going to end up regretting this decision. He was unfortunately to young to understand the magnitude of what he was doing. Great Post. He is that good. And I thought he would have the desire to want to be "The Man". All the greats want to be the greatest ever. MJ wanted it, Kobe wants it (thats why he kicked Shaq out), you can go back decade after decade. None of the greatest want to be a sidekick. LeBron has lost so many fans........and that does matter somewhat.

QUOTE (T R U @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:39 PM) LeBron doesn't care about that, im pretty sure of it.. I dont think it being "Wades Town" will have any bother on him at all.. I think he really just wants to win Championships.. If that wasnt the case, he could have taken more money from Cleveland, Chicago, New York.. there were plenty of options for him to take that would have either been more money or allowed him to build his own "legacy" or whatever you wanna call it.. Well time will only tell. You'd have to imagine that image is important to anyone who refers to themself in the third person. I'm just saying that a season is very long and there are many aspects to this team that people are not thinking about.

QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 11:36 PM) I don't think anyone is saying that Cleveland never gave him a chance, he just went on live TV to make an announcement that could've been made by Twitter or a phone call and was completely ridiculous, one of which was never made to the team that he called home for 7 years. It is just common courtesy but he has now proven to be a flake EXACTLY......just think how Dan Gilbert felt having to watch this without LeBron giving a courtesy call thanking him but saying he has to move on. I think Gilbert is going to unleash hell on LBJ.
