  1. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 08:49 PM) Kane with his career high for goals in a season. Unreal. It's only the 2nd time he has reached 30 goals in a season, that's crazy. That is thanks to a few random injuries and a lockout.
  2. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 08:41 PM) The Hawks look great QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) Hawks look pretty terrible on the butter soft ice. Scrappy game.
  3. Anisimov says "Don't forget about me, I'm good at hockey too!"
  4. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 02:05 PM) I don't even know if we'll be able to sign Panarin long-term. It would be a lot easier if they didn't give a certain D-man a very long extension this past offseason. I still think that one is gonna bite the most.
  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 10:13 AM) Yeah waiting for the definitive piece. I do find it interesting how open the top players were to discussing (Nova) From what I read in this Deadspin article, it sounds like they know which players are involved, but don't feel comfortable releasing them.
  6. John Scott has been reinstated as Pacific Division All-Star captain. Woohoo. In other news, the future salary cap hell might be looking worse for the Hawks with the loonie dropping in value. Interesting read about it: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/hock..._medium=twitter
  7. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 10:37 AM) Finally booked my next trip to Europe in September: Frankfurt Bucharest Athens Santorini Positano area Venice Munich (Oktoberfest) Luxembourg 3 weeks total, would love to spend more time in some of the spots (only 2 nights on Santorini) but man I am so pumped for this. Jeez, now you are just rubbing it in. Oh, to be in my 20s without any responsibility again.
  8. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jan 19, 2016 -> 06:57 AM) Looking for non-traditional Honeymoon away from a hot beach where we can be outside, hike, check out national parks, horseback ride, etc. Tough part is how expensive the all-inclusive places are, which is what we ideally ant. We saw some from $1,000 a person per night, which we just cannot afford. Any ideas off of that? I'll look into Whitefish. Sun Valley/Ketchum, Idaho is a pretty sweet little town, with lots of outdoor activites, although it may range on the higher end of the price spectrum, depending what you can find.
  9. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 18, 2016 -> 08:42 AM) I tend to think both home teams win next week, but it's really a toss up. Same for any Super Bowl match up. Hard to pick one team over another. I think it all depends on Carson Palmer's finger, if it still bothers him like it did on Sunday, the Cardinals are very beatable. New England will beat Denver no problem.
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:43 PM) So where does this rank among the greatest playoff games of all time? I know that most of this game wasn't all that interesting, but the last 2 minutes and OT were absolutely insane. It ranks right up there with last Green Bay vs Arizona playoff game, that was just as crazy.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:32 PM) So even the coin toss is controversial The "Coin Cam" confirmed that it didn't flip
  12. That throw by Rodgers was so amazing. I try to keep hating Green Bay, but damn he's the best QB I have ever seen
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:29 PM) Take the ot Yeah, you had all the momentum
  14. Holy balls. There can't be "inconclusive " evidence to reverse that, right? Holy s***. Do you go for two?
  15. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:21 PM) So dumb. You have to spike the ball there. NFL teams are ridiculously stupid. Rodgers is so good on the fly, but he got way too smart there.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:19 PM) Oh man that's PI. That looked obvious live watching in real time.
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:13 PM) Terrible clock management. That's taking agressiveness to a whole new level. At least throw a screen or slant that will probably be completed. Not a fade.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Lol what. Why throw there? And you throw a fade with little chance to be completed? Just gave Rodgers 40 more seconds. Crazy.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 10:02 PM) Ok. Place your bets. Rodgers wins this or no? That 4th down throw was on him, bad throw. I agree with the decision to go for it though.
  20. That touchdown was like half the goals in the NHL playoffs, lol.
  21. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 09:21 PM) James Jones who got cut by the Raiders this year is their current #1. Abbrederis is #2 and Jeff Janis is #3. Their defense has played really well and Palmer hasn't been on his game but its still incredible. Lacy has never been fast but he clearly isn't in as good of shape as he was his last year at Bama or his first couple years in the league. I've never seen him look this slow. As well as Rodgers is playing with B team, the Packers defense is the story. AZ was one of the top two offenses in the league. On that 60 yard run, it barely even looked like Lacy was running, yet no one could get an angle on him, like a Benny Hill skit.
  22. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 06:44 PM) Awful clock management by Chiefs on that drive. I could see the exact same thing happening under John Fox.
  23. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 16, 2016 -> 01:02 PM) Clears like $3 million in cap space I believe I think it's only like $900k, at least that's what it was last time he went to Rockford.
  24. Bryan Bickell placed on waivers. Again.
  25. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Jan 15, 2016 -> 06:02 PM) Hey! I have PSU and OSU in there. I was going to consider Oregon and Florida St as well, but Oregon doesn't have any great home games on paper and Florida St's schedule is still coming along, aside from early September vs Ole Miss (but that's in Orlando) and late November against Florida You missed my point. Go to a SEC game and tailgate, that's the only correct answer. Ole Miss would probably be #1 out of those from everything I have heard, I've never been.
