  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 07:12 PM) Stone just basically called Lawrie stupid on the paths. I like. Good call by Steve, haha.
  2. http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/06/apple-c...g-galaxy-s-iii/ The data tapping patent is possibly the lamest and most unimaginative patent ever. That's something anyone can come up with. It's like Oracle suing Google over range check. Anybody can write that code, it's so easy and straight forward that it pretty much has to look the same in everybody's code. Seriously, I hope Apple's lawyers burn.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 10:26 AM) Windows 8 wants to turn your PC into a smartphone. This almost feels like a fail, but then again, the layout of Windows for PC hasn't changed that much, but it sure looks like it's about to... There is a normal desktop in Windows 8. I tried out the release candidate a while back. I wasn't a fan of the whole touch thing. It'd be great on a tablet, but I don't have one...
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 11:45 AM) Yankees seats are empty, $1, and it is stubhubs fault. Just like the Cubs. Unfortunately, there are no Sox tix for $5 on Stubhub. Cheapest might be $10-15 and those seats blow.

    Stephen Drew can play 3B?
  6. So that's why he was hitting badly. Whenever he gets these things, doesn't he go on a hot streak?
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:27 PM) They are gonna annihilate Spoelstra again No reason the Heat should be losing 4 in a row to an old ass Boston team. If the Bulls were healthy, they could have had Boston in 5 or 6.
  8. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:23 PM) its not a bailout. Haslem was going to foul Garnett regardless, he just had to go for broke because a foul on Garnett is one of the better outcomes on the inbound. I thought he could have tipped that ball without fouling, but that's just me.
  9. Miami's done. No way they go into Boston in an elimination game and take one. This Boston team has way too much playoff experience for that to happen.
  10. Celtics got bailed out. Bad foul by Haslem. He didn't need to hold Garnett back there. He could have still tipped that ball.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) lol. It's always quiet. I coulda heard a pin drop before Wade's FTs.
  12. Come on Cs, just get the ball in, make your FTs, and you'll be up 3-2.
  13. American Airlines Arena is so quiet.
  14. Come on Dwyane, choke.
  15. I don't think Hudson would have done anything there anyways. Looks like we'll have to score 4 against Cordero.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:34 PM) Doubt it, as you never know if Romero throws the same pitches in a closer game, etc. You also can't say that the other Sox reliever that would have come in would have held the Jays scoreless. Yeah, it's no guarantee. But him giving up 4 runs in 3 innings sure didn't help the cause.
  17. Wow, Celts up 5 after 3. They'll win the series if they get this game...come on Boston. 12 more minutes of good basketball.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) Ironically, Stewart played a huge part in the game that the Sox came back to beat the Tigers at the Cell that turned our season around, IMO. Well he might have cost us this one.
  19. Those runs Stewart gave up with 2 outs sure look big now.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) 23k...pretty good Seems like it's a lot less.
  21. 10 HR for A.J. now. He's going to hit like 25 at this rate. That'd be quite the "rebirth" season for him at 30 something. ZiPS projects 8 HR the rest of the way, so they have him at 18. It'd be a career high I think (or tied for it at least).
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Actually, he's still pitching I'm referring to the possibility of him pitching beyond this inning.
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:30 PM) Wow, how many 2 strike hits can he allow tonight? AJ, want to waste a pitch instead of throwing the same pitch seemingly every pitch in that AB? They tried in the first, that didn't work. This Blue Jays team is too patient.
  24. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) Oh ok...I guess I'll turn it off then. Maybe you should now. 5-1. Humber's done.
  25. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 08:27 PM) It's 3-1. Is ok with you if we don't concede this one quite yet? We've never hit Romero well. He's getting behind pretty much every hitter and we haven't seen much of anything yet offensively.
