Mariners still lead. Going to the 9th. Let's hope Aardsma has lock-down type stuff today.

QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) Are they only showing when Mark pitches? All I get is a background talking about Buerhle's game. They're not showing the Sox ABs.

QUOTE (Phil McKrevice @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:39 PM) Farmer just said the forbidden phrase on the radio. Jay Marioti will then b**** and moan.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) 93 pitches That's nothing. Washburn throws in the high 80s.

6 left!

For those of you who can't watch. MLB.com has a free live look-in at the game.

9 left.

Nice play by Gordon.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:20 PM) Q wasn't limpin but he sure looked slow. I'll take slow over limp.

We should have gotten Alexei in... But oh well.

Get Alexei in guys, come on.

5-0.

QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:15 PM) Moose Skowren on the radio is absolutely brutal. I have no idea what the hell is going on from one moment to the next. Exactly. Let 'em call the game.

We need more runs. Get Pods in.

12 left...

He saved it.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:07 PM) He's a terrible manager. It appears the Mariners still find ways to win with crappy managers. They won 88 games in 07 with a crappy one.

QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 02:03 PM) looking at the mariners offense it is amazing they are 6 over. just shows what good SP can do for you. They have three above average hitters in their lineup - Ichiro, Branyan, Gutierrez. Too bad Wakamatsu puts Branyan in the two-spot. He needs to move to the 3rd or 4th spot. He doesn't make enough contact to be in the 2-hole. Plus, why is Junior batting 4th? He should bat 6th or 7th. Jose Lopez is also a really crappy 3 hitter. They could do better if their lineup was formatted a bit better with something along the lines of... 1. Ichiro RF 2. Lopez 2B 3. Gutierrez CF 4. Branyan 1B 5. Sweeney DH 6. Griffey LF 7. Johnson C 8. Hannahan 3B 9. Cedeno SS

Q didn't look too bad there.

That almost dropped.

Uh oh. Not just before the Tigers series Q, please don't.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 01:45 PM) What's your bench looking like these days? I have Joakim Soria, Edinson Volquez, and Tommy Hanson on my bench as pitchers. In other words, I'm stacked. I also have Pence and Hunter riding the bench.

QUOTE (BFirebird @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 01:42 PM) I am sorry you still have him. Somehow I was able to get CC for him in a 4 player deal. I dumped him a while back. Lost velocity on the fastball and couldn't buy strikes.

Mark's gotta keep 'em down. Looks pretty good right now. Seattle's winning as well.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 23, 2009 -> 01:40 PM) I started Kazmir on my fantasy team. He's got a lot of negative points right now.
