Wasn't this guy pitching really well before today? Pretty harsh to option him when he's got the 2nd most pitching WAR on the team.

Has this team had an offensive stretch this good since 2021? Even when we weren't bad in 2022, I felt like that offense had trouble scoring. When is the last time this team has put up 10+ runs 3 times in 6 games? They also had 7 and 8 runs in there. I don't think there's a better time for this team to play the Cubs.
