He's improved, drastically? Eh, marginally imo.

I'm a huge bulls fan just don't discuss them here, prefer RealGM. It's been a horribly boring season with nothing at all to really look at other than Ayo and White playing a bit better. Pat was a bust again before getting hurt, Zach looked awful himself and so on.

Demar is nice but he's a FA and we'll have to overpay him for more "continuity" next year. Don't even get me started on Vuc.

I would say almost doubling your PPG while maintaining your efficiency is a drastic improvement. He's going to finish top 3 for MIP. There was a good 2 month period where you could argue he should win it, but he's really dropped off since Siakam sat on him.

White's TS% and WS/48 are now lower than last year. The "breakout" was a 3 week hot stretch. I'm not saying he's not a decent player, but he's just that -- a decent player, nothing more or less. On a good team he'd be a 6th or 7th man.

He more or less maintained his efficiency while playing 13 more minutes a game. His usage went up 6%. He doubled the amount of shots he took. Teams started to game plan around defending him. He was also close to a 59% TS% before he got hurt. Coby's a streaky player, but there's no doubt he drastically improved this year while playing a much bigger role.

Honestly, it has been some of Donovan's best coaching since UofF to get this MASH unit to the playoffs.  Coby's breakout has been awesome to see.

Ayo's actually been better than Coby since Siakam almost broke Coby on a chase down block. Plus I'm sure the minutes are catching up with him. He and DeRozan play more minutes than just about anyone in the NBA.

The last team to score this few runs their first 10 games were the 2004 Montreal Expos. They turned it around and only lost 95 that year.

Right before they moved to DC. That's an ominous sign.

I wonder if this keeps up, will Hahn come back. His teams were always better than this ;)

Might as well bring Kenny back before Hahn.

Kenny didn't give a s%*# about developing talent, but he at least kept the team interesting and competitive. Hahn tanked for 4 years just for 2 playoff appearances.

That was a bad game. 13 runners and only three runs? Moncada loafing on the basepaths. This should have been a win, and the fact that it wasn't shows how bad this team is. KC isn't as bad as in recent years, but to be swept by them even in Kansas City is lame. Trade Moncada now if you can. He's hitting well, maybe someone will be dumb enough to take him.

0-7 vs the Tigers and Royals. They're both worse than Cleveland and Minnesota too. Detroit just lost a series at home to the A's. Like I said the other day, we're probably the worst team in baseball.

Okay, so in all seriousness, does Pedro's job survive like a 2 - 20 start? Because that seems like a realistic possibility.

If they really are 2-20, someone will get fired as a sacrificial lamb. I'm not sure it'll be Pedro.

  8. At least management knows this team will be historically bad. Why else would they be signing free agents like Pham and Clevinger? The fact that they're trying to save face from being historically awful at least proves they are capable of shame.

I'm getting a little worried about this team....the schedule is going to get harder.

What happens when the starters aren't putting up quality starts? This team might have 5 wins by the end of the month.

I’ll keep banging the drum for Wilson because he looks like a dude. Fedde has also looked better than I expected.

The whole rotation is actually performing well beyond expectations. It's just the rest of the team is an absolute disaster.

Grifol isn’t good, that’s not even in question. He probably goes home every night and gives Jerry his vitamins to help him stay healthy.

Hard to care when you know the offense won't score. Might as well let your starter go as long as possible.
