Embiid has kicked our ass every time.

Honestly this feels like the Sox banking on Robert and Eloy coming back as their big trade deadline acquisitions. Of course, the Sox went out and actually got a big name like Kimbrel and it didn't work out. Sometimes no deal is better than a bad deal, but in this case, the Bulls really just need a Ryan Tepera-esque trade and I don't think we'll even get that.

Yeah, that Harden deal is really bad for the Bulls. Philly gets better (assuming they weren't gonna have Simmons at all this season) and the Nets get much better defensively to compliment their 2 already great scorers. Also Curry is a great get for them in this deal. Win-win for both teams IMO, but bad for the rest of the East.

Thad Young is also going to the Raptors for Goran Dragic.

Ibaka also going to Milwaukee, somebody I thought the Bulls should have taken a look at.

I think if they can somehow get Schroder and Poetl for a combination of White, Brown, and the Portland pick, it'd be a pretty solid trade deadline. Bagley would be a nice throw-in.

Bagley has been pretty good defensively. I just looked at the Kings' RAPTOR numbers and apparently Barnes has played absolutely no defense this year. His on/off numbers are terrible.

I don't think another score-first SG is what the Bulls really need.

I hope AKME do something before Thursday. Because even with Caruso and Ball, I'm not sure this team has enough to be a true title contender right now. Plus all these crazy trades is giving me some serious FOMO.

The competition to be first is real between those 2.

Vucevic had a huge game because the Pacers didn't have anyone over 6'8 to guard him. He needs to play well on Sunday against Embiid so Billy can coach at the all-star game.

Clippers are extremely loaded at the 4. They have Ibaka, Covington, Batum, and Marcus Morris. With how much their tax bill is, you'd think they would buy one of them out.

Poeltl doesn't seem like the kind of guy that will work next to Vucevic. He'd solve a lot of rebounding problems, but he'd create a ton of spacing problems at the same time on offense.

The fact that they're looking to trade White for a good PF is kind of what makes this Schroder rumor exciting. Coby's nice, but he's kind of fallen back down to earth after his little hot streak. He's just a very streaky player in general and I really don't see him as anything more than a 6th man off the bench that can get you points in a hurry.

He's played under Donovan. He has a lot of flaws, but he's a much better piece than Troy Brown Jr. The Bulls also need another ball handler right now, which is something that Schroder provides.

Bulls are talking trade with the Celtics for Dennis Schroder. It'd be Troy Brown and a 2nd round pick for Schroder. With our lack of guards right now, it might not be a terrible deal. Schroder isn't making that much money this year and if you get him, that'll also allow you to shop Coby White for a 4.

Question is, can I buy this if I'm out of market?

Yeah but they don't play well as a team despite the talent, especially when they're not playing in the US. Canada may not be as talented but they're really coming out of nowhere. They didn't even make it to the hex 4 years ago.

Against an Oceania team? I still like our chances. Of course I think we can still get 3rd. We just need to take care of business at home against Panama and Honduras and at least get a point in the 2 road games.

We should at least be able to qualify for that 4th spot. We're 5 points clear of Costa Rica right now with 4 left to play. If we somehow choke this one like we did in 2018, I'm gonna be so pissed.

Yeah he's definitely an expiring asset now to a bad team. Him being out 2 months means you get nothing out of him until the playoffs and who knows how ready he'll be by then. He allows you to match salary for a lot of the mid tier trade candidates.
