Yoan had been real good with RISP early in the year, but he's been all kinds of terrible recently.

Irvin is the most efficient pitcher in baseball and Cease the least efficient, yet Irvin threw almost 4 times the amount of pitches Cease threw in the first.

The parallels between that first inning and yesterday's are scary.

Probably taking after Irvin couldn't throw a strike against Vaughn. He got a real good fastball on 0-1 and fouled it back.

Even Goodwin put the damn bat on the ball.

This first inning is playing out just like yesterday's. Like almost exactly the same.
