Cubs expected to sell a lot, including Bryant, Kimbrel
You're acting like the Twins have a bad offense, they don't. And he did fine against them the week before that.

Cease's numbers haven't even been that bad since the sticky ban. Whoever trades a 25 year old pitcher on pace for a 4 WAR season for a near replacement level outfielder with 3 months of control is an absolute idiot. To think Pederson demands more than that is just incredibly stupid.

This is the most Score call I've ever heard. Meatball fan throws out dumb and lopsided trade idea. Hosts somehow think that his trade idea wasn't lopsided enough and thinks it should only be worse.

They had to be joking right?

He had good command last year. He rarely has had that this year. In the starts where he did have good command (vs. Tampa and Toronto especially), he's looked pretty good. If he can throw that cutter effectively inside to righties and the change up down and away to lefties, he's got a chance.

The Quintana trade definitely shortened their window by a few years. Although you could argue that had they gotten the Quintana they thought they were getting, they could have gotten to a WS in 17 and 18.

Rotation after break
I would skip Lynn from pitching against Houston, he always sucks against them. If both Lynn and Rodon pitch in the ASG, they should be on regular rest by Sunday. I'd go Giolito, Cease, Rodon, Lynn, Keuchel.

Bryant hit just .114 in June with a 27 wRC+. And here I thought Jose had a bad June. That horrible month might be a hit to his sky high trade value from the first 2 months of the season.

ELOY back Monday against KC
With Grandal's injury, I'd rather get someone right after the ASB so we can survive the rest of July and get to the deadline at least 15 games above .500.

AL Central 2021
The Tigers might be winless against us if it wasn't for fucking Eric Haase. We really need to figure out how to pitch (or sometimes pitch around) that guy.

Is it time to give TLR his due? And maybe some apologies?
If anything, him going to Hendriks in the 8th against the middle of their order was one of his best tactical decisions of the year. We've probably blown almost 10 leads in the 8th this year.

Joc Pederson to Braves
Joc, like Eaton, was good for one month and has been below replacement level in every way in the other 2 months. At least Joc stayed healthy though.

ELOY back Monday against KC
He's said that he wants to stay in Texas. With how well he's been hitting his price probably just doubled in the past month or so. The best time to get him was probably a few weeks after Robert went down. But I don't think teams like to make big trades that early in the season.

ELOY back Monday against KC
Twins threw him a lot of pitches outside and he really didn't have much to hit all series. And when he did there was a lot of weak contact. It appears that teams are already adjusting and staying away from him.

7-inning 5-pitcher no hitters are not noteworthy
Yup. Especially if it's a combined no hitter. The last 6 outs of a no hitter are probably the toughest ones to get.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Nelson Cruz - was already on the team Happ - White Sox broke him Simmons - can't hit and sloppy in the field Shoemaker - DFA'd Robles - Lost without the sticky Colome - Lost the closer job in like 2 weeks What an offseason

And to think, it could have been double digits if Gio and Keuchel didn't shit the bed against the Tigers. All before the ASB.
