I'm not sure what Abreu's underlying metrics looked like for all of his slow starts in Chicago, but he's definitely trending the wrong way. You'd think a team like Houston would get him to stop swinging at garbage and increase his power, not the other way around.

It seemed like just a week ago that we were raving about how it was nice to have everyone healthy and the lineup 7 or 8 solid hitters deep. Now the lineup looks real short again.
