Using Kopech was the obvious decision to me. We had the lead and Kopech is a dominating pitcher. If you need him to pitch 3 innings, and he's rolling, you just do it. You win the game in front of you right now and worry about later, later. I started laughing when I saw Crochett warming up... It was worse than Renteria's managing last season. I don't get all the complaining about the roster in this thread. This game was completely winnable. It was thrown away by TERRIBLE MANAGERIAL DECISIONS. Every fucking decision TLR made was a bad decision.

I fucking hate TLR. I cannot even listen to him in this post-game. He needs to be asked about all of the following: 1) Why are you bringing Crochett in, in that situation? 2) Why are you pinch hitting for Engel, and moving Garcia to RF? 3) Why do you refuse to shift, which resulted in at least two hits that crossed home plate today? TLR just talked about Bummer and saying one of the ground balls should have been a double play... WELL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN, IF YOU HAD SHIFTED, YOU STUPID FUCK!

I was a fuck TLR member before he was even hired. I hated the hire at the time, and I've hated his management most of the season. He cost the White Sox several games, and this game is a perfect example of WHY he's a bad manager.

People have been pointing out the lack of shifting by the White Sox all season long. Turns out, defensive shifts are important. Turns out, not shifting properly can cost you runs. And wins. I really hope TLR gets his stupid drunken ass arrested for drunk driving again after this season, and the Sox are forced to can him. Because my biggest fear is that this piece of shit sabotages this team for the next few years. There's zero chance Reinsdorf allows him to be fired.

How can anyone defend TLR at this point? Those runs are 95% on TLR being a horseshit manager and a fucking dinosaur. The announcers even mentioned there was a huge hole up the middle, which doesn't make much sense, since sinker ball pitchers tend to have a lot of balls go up the middle. Three straight hits went RIGHT through that fucking hole. Then you have Garcia in RF instead of Engel, who absolutely makes that catch. His stupidity completely sabotaged this game, without even taking into consideration Kimbrel being a useless fucking twatwaffle. Fuck TLR.

Kimbrel is a fucking joke. TLR is a fucking joke. The bad decisions all the TLR fanboys were excusing all season happen in game two of the ALDS, and pretty much cost the Sox the game. Taking Engel out was epic stupidity.
