QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) What poor person is lying to a grand jury about steroid use? I think Bonds' crime is low enough on the list that spending $50 million is irresponsible. This Bin Laden is free out there and we are prosecuting a dude for using steroids, GTFO here.

This "pure PG" thing is garbage, Magic Johnson wasn't a "pure PG" yet he is the greatest PG ever.

QUOTE (Felix @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 10:03 PM) Chris Paul > Derrick Rose Have at it. lol

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:26 AM) I have yet to see a fanbase that wasn't smarter than their manager... This

I've been on Twins forums and there are a lot of Twin fans who think Gardy is a moron...lots of ST posters here would love Gardenhire as the Sox manager.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 01:40 PM) It's just nice to have a discussion about the bulls having the potential to be great. Any such discussions (if any) that have taken place since 1998 have included the caveat, "if we could only find that one big star". Well, it certainly appears that we have that one big star. Derrick should only improve from where he is right now and I think we have the right coach to max out his potential. I am not sure that we will win the title this year, but I am pretty confident that will be get one (or three) before DR1 is old and cold. This is just a ridiculously exciting time to be a Bulls fan. Yeah it is, but I don't have the same anxiety/fear I had back in Pistons Bad Boys/MJ and his up and coming Bulls era

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 01:17 PM) I'm not saying that they're an all-time great team, but they can be "great" in comparison to other "good" teams like the Heat or Spurs. Until we pummel those teams when it counts, these 2011 Bulls are pretty good.
-
I also agree with Balta and Murcie. The word great gets thrown around so much...great NBA teams to me are the Bird Celtics, Magic Lakers, Olajuwon Rockets, Thomas Pistons, Duncan Spurs and these Lakers, you gotta win more than one title or at least make it to a few finals to be great IMO...the 2006 Heat were the best team that year but great?Naw.

QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 12:02 PM) I thought that he lived in San Diego - you know, like what it says on his name area over there. I was living in SD until about a year ago...too lazy to change my info.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 11:19 AM) The good news for the Bulls is that Miami hasnt played the Celtics well, so its not a sure thing that the Bulls ever even face the Heat. The Heat won yesterday because their bench finally showed up, but that is an exception to the rule, the Heat's bench sucks. If the Heat bench plays in the playoffs the way they did vs Boston yesterday, they'll be tough to beat but they've been bad all year and I don't expect them to all of a sudden "turn it on".

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 11:11 AM) There are no legitimate arguments for either, imo. Rose is clearly the MVP this year. Not saying he's the best player in the association, but he fits the MVP title for the season. And I still don't think the Bulls make the NBA finals. However, I hope I'm wrong. I still think Miami wins this thing. Honestly, the Heat don't scare me because when you get past LBJ and Wade, they are really thin (Bosh=soft)...the Bulls will manhandle them on the boards. The only team I fear are the Lakers.
-
I'm gonna get me the NBA.tv playoffs package to watch every Bulls game
-
As bad as the Celtics have been of late, I expect them to beat the Heat today...
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 10, 2011 -> 02:27 PM) He's not there already? I don't know who you rank clearly ahead of him. Maybe James, maybe Howard, maybe Bryant, depends a bit on your team. ding ding ding I'd also put D Wade ahead but that one is really close

Rose will soon be a top three player in the NBA...kid is amazing.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) Tb's offense sucks but all you had to do was watch this game to realize he would have shutdown pretty much any offense around today. Not saying he's going to do it consistently but today, no one would have stood a chance. This
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 7, 2011 -> 04:05 PM) Jackson was godlike. But I could shutdown this Tampa offense. Let's not get crazy. His stuff was nasty today, it wouldn't matter if it was the Yankees out there, IMO
-
There were alot of people here that didn't like the Hudson/Jackson trade, especially because Hud was cheap and EJ's big contract but I loved that trade...EJax has Ace stuff and Hudson, well, doesn't IMO... EJax
