  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 26, 2011 -> 01:08 PM) Mourning was only 6'10". So was Moses Malone but that didn't matter, they were shot blockers nonetheless...
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 26, 2011 -> 01:05 PM) Just watched that Rose MVP vid. Who would've thought Stacey King's largest contribution to the Bulls franchise would be as an announcer. Hey, don't forget Stacey King was huge in Game 6 vs Portland in the Finals, leading the second unit in the 4th down 17 points
  3. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 26, 2011 -> 12:58 PM) Just a few hall of famers in there.... And some serious shot blockers that you didnt even list. Not to mention they were allowed to mug players in the paint on the perimeter back then. Yeah, those old Celtics, Pistons and Knicks teams had some real mean SOBs guarding the paint...in today's NBA, MJ would average 40 a night.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 25, 2011 -> 09:25 PM) Not my friend, this was a group. lol. Dumbest comment lately was this dude saying Kobe > Jordan and then attempting to back it up by asking how many legit 7 foot centers Jordan had to drive on. Such an appallingly stupid statement that I didn't know where to start. Another moron paraded in and said "Kobe > Jordan, stats don't lie." lol. I told him I'd spot him three point %, pick any of Kobe's stat anywhere and I'll trump it easily with Jordan's stat. Any one of them. Just off the top of my head, Kareem Abdul Jabaar, Ralph Sampson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Bill Walton, Alonzo Mourning, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Moses Malone, Rick Smitts, Shaquille O'Neal, Robert Parrish, Mark Eaton, Dikembe Mutombo...might be missing a few more but damn.
  5. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baske...0,3207516.story I love Scalabrine's analysis
  6. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 26, 2011 -> 08:25 AM) Good luck with that; Not gonna happen.They would need the salary of the New York Yankees.
  7. QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 25, 2011 -> 02:53 PM) If it's the former, then I'm giving the nod to Dwight. He changes everything about the games Orlando plays. Their whole system is built around him offensively, and defensively he shuts off the paint from anyone on the other team. DBAH0 watches the Magic way more than I do, but every time I see them play, there's no doubt to me that Dwight significantly changes how both teams approach the game. Yet they are 6-4 the last 10 games...MVPs should be leading their teams to victories above stats IMO.
  8. Late to the party but my fave moment hands down was MJ breaking down on Father's Day while clutching the game ball after winning his 4th NBA title...it always chokes me up when I watch that. My next favorite sports moments are Sweetness breaking the all time rushing record (screw Emmitt Smith) and the White Sox winning it all in 05.
  9. Having sex with her is like throwing baseball bats down the Grand Canyon.
  10. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 03:54 PM) CNN/MSNBC They also suck but nobody beats FNC on blowhardiness (if that's even a word ).
  11. QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 10:17 PM) Adam Sandler. This The most unfunny SNL alumni this side of Jimmy Fallon.
  12. A word of advice to Tyler, "Flowers is the way to go when you want to charm a girl off her feet".
  13. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 07:06 AM) I've noticed that since having a child myself, its a lot harder for me to even read stories like that. I mean, they were always appalling. But now, I can barely even get through them. I know this may take away some macho points, but there were times shortly after my daughter was born that I had to stop reading or watching this sort of story because I was on the verge of tears. I just can't even fathom how a human being could do something like that to their own child. No macho points lost, you're just being a decent human being.
  14. Whenever children are killed by adults, it's the worst the human race can do because they are so vulnerable...if there is a hell, those people should be the first in line. So sorry about those poor kids.
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 20, 2011 -> 01:06 PM) We have found the missing pieces.
  16. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 18, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) Good night for us and Miami it seems, with the Bulls, Knicks and Hawks all losing, and the Celtics down by 22 to Houston in the 3rd. There's actually a chance Philadelphia could end up with the 5 seed if Atlanta continue playing the way they have over the past 5-6 games. You guys have an outside chance of catching Miami but it´s really a two horse race for the #1 seed in the EC IMO, the Bulls and the Celtics would really have to tank it in the little over a dozen or so games left in the season...it can happen but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  17. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 08:26 PM) Bulls can't hang with Top 3 in East. fixed
  18. This Bulls team is a real joy to watch, team effort all around.
  19. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 17, 2011 -> 08:11 AM) I think there's a few things. The decision to walk off without shaking hands with any of Orlando's players after they lost in the ECF for 1 thing. His ability to get coaches fired. Mike Brown for one, Spoelstra very close early in the season (where do you think those rumors about him getting fired came from, Lebron's brass of course). His lack of taking responsibility. Every time he didn't make a game winning shot, he would blame everyone but himself. So basically, Lebron looks out for 1 person and that's Lebron. I used to like LeBaby before that, then I saw what a little b**** he can be when things don't go his way.
