QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 14, 2011 -> 12:35 AM) For a while, the Heat looked like they could reel off 50 straight wins to tie or shatter the Bulls 72-10 record, now we can officially rule them out.... this season. By the way. Arron Afflalo looked really nice tonight and did a great job defending Wade. Both him and JR Smith had great games tonight, but I think Afflalo will be a better fit for the Bulls because he can do more with less. Just check his stats and he is something like 50-40-85 in terms of shooting %. and he NEVER turns the ball over. He would be a terrific fit with Rose and Boozer. If I were GarPax, Afflalo and Mayo are on top of my trade list for shooting guards. Oh, I'm pretty confident that record will hold for at the very least, a LONG time...it is just to hard to go through a 82 game grind and lose just 10, that is really f***ing amazing.

As a single dude, I had a 96 Honda Prelude, I own a 2011 Nissan Tiida and I would really love an Audi A7.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 12, 2011 -> 12:24 PM) Get the heck out of my neighborhood with this crap. Wade doesn't want to lose in douchieness to LBJ.

I don't think the Bears will take the Seahawks lightly, they were beaten by them earlier this season so hopefully the Bears will want some payback. I'm predicting a big game by Forte, BTW. Last week I had the Saints, Jets, Ravens and Packers...3/4 not bad. This week...Ravens, Packers, Bears and Jets.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 04:31 PM) Starks has one game and now the f***ing entire world wants to jizz in a Green Bay Packers sock. Let's all take it easy. +1 I've been checking out Packer forums and they are convinced they now have a running game Sorry but one good game doesn't make you a solid running team.

If the Seahawks don't get a heavy dose of Forte, then Martz should retire...

Not to overlook Seattle because I do think they will battle us all game long (hopefully I'm wrong and it's a Bears laugher) but I hope the Pack beat Atlanta...rather face the Packers in Soldier Field than go to Atlanta. Da Bears!!!

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 10:47 PM) Ever since watching Hard Knocks, I thought Mark Sanchez seemed like a pretty cool guy, but he just went up another notch in my book. He's an overrated QB, but this is a really good story... http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5991920 I just became a Mark Sanchez fan. Beat Indy!!

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 08:12 AM) The Heat are 2 games short of the NBA's longest road winning streak in history. I bet all 6 of their fans are really excited.

QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Jan 2, 2011 -> 10:59 PM) Philly for sure. Vicks been incredible this season, but the Bears defense has actually had good success against athletic QBs this season. It's the pocket QBs that kill them for whatever reason. Plus, Sean Payton is just really good at his job. ^^This^^

QUOTE (lord chas @ Jan 2, 2011 -> 07:21 PM) got a feeling bears are going to wish they took the pack out. should be a fun few weeks I would wager anything the Packers do not make it to the NFC Championship game, that would take winning 2 on the road and they have struggled all season on the road...the pack are a good team but not good enough for 2 road wins IMO.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 03:52 PM) When did I ever mention "super bowls" or the term "decade"? Please show me. Since I was born GB has been more successful and that is all I'm referring to, shall we take a look at the 90s? Because I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me to. This is a pointless argument altogether when we could go back and forth picking random dates where one team was better than the other, and no I'm not saying you were better in the 2000s. I don't give a s*** that you were the last to make it to the Super Bowl you prick, did you win? Now remind me, who was the last NFC North team to make it to the Super Bowl and win because I forget? I don't visit any other forum than this one, I have better things to do. Why shouldn't they go into the season thinking they are going to win it? When you have one of the best QBs of all time in Favre and now one of the top QBs in Rodgers you should expect to win the division or go to the playoffs, if you think otherwise your a f***ing idiot. More often than not the best QBs in the league will keep their teams in playoff contention. Since you conveniently picked the 2000s, wonder why.... Playoff Appearances: Bears 4/10 Packers 6 possibly 7/10 60/70% is pretty darn good/often imo, more than 4. Well, since I was born, the Bears have been more successful, I'm guessing I'm older than you, I remember the ownage we had over the Pack from the mid 70's to the early 90's but anyways, whatever dude, go ahead and believe the Packers are vastly superior to the Bears in every which way, shape and form...in my lifetime you guys have had 2 SB appearances and won 1...same as us. I mentioned the 2000's since it's relatively recent history, that's all.

QUOTE (beckham15 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 10:28 AM) "Injuries can happen at any time. But for us, the guys have prepared in the offseason to go through this year. We haven't had a lot of injuries. We're just gonna keep it going in that direction." quote from Lovie Smith on ESPN Chicago all im trying to show is that the Packers have not gotten the "breaks" like that post has mentioned. That win against us wasnt dominating. It was by a field goal at the end of regulation. Anyone who watched that game knows that the Bears werent dominating in that game. I watched both Detroit/Green Bay games and you guys were far from dominating them...just saying.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 10:02 AM) What about Tuesdays game? Nobody thought Minny would beat Philly with Webb at the helm, pretty big break right there to help you guys secure a bye. Bears faced Stanton too, lets not forget the 5 other teams that used backup QBs vs your team. And you guys managed to avoid any crucial long term injuries all year. Now that were circling back to week 1 you guys should have lost to Detroit had it not been for the dumbest penalty flag in the game and this could be a totally different season for you. I can continue with these stupid what if statements all day. Your right you have absolutely nothing to play for if Carolina beats Atlanta and Tampa beats the Saints, please, and Lovie already indicated he would play his starters. As a Bears fan you should know this. Even if this doesn't happen do you really think Lovie would let up on us, after all it was his #1 goal to beat the Packers. I was purely speaking we haven't caught any breaks on the injury front, as in nobody is staying healthy, sure injuries isn't an excuse but if you told me we wouldn't be better with someone like Finley, Grant too name a few your a f***ing moron. Heck to be in this position with what 16 players on the IR I'm ecstatic and we still look like a team capable of winning the Super Bowl. Even if we miss the playoffs the front office should get a big pat on the back, goes to show what good drafting/scouting can do for your team's depth. Pretty funny/pathetic how cocky Bear fans get when they make the playoffs, which doesn't come around all too often So losing Aaron Rodgers must have been a big break........ok Oh yeah, the Packers have been piling up those SB trophies the last few decades huh...FYI, the last team from the NFC North to get to the SB were the Bears, Einstein... Packer fans aren't exactly a humble bunch either pal...take a look at their forums, they go around believing the NFC North Division is owed to them and nobody else. Since 2000, Bears have won 4 division titles, same as the Packers and the Vikings 3...where do you get off laughing at our "we don't get to the playoffs often"? You guys don't either
-
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 08:21 AM) Well it would have helped if our starting QB didn't get his bell rung in the 2nd quarter. On another note, I think the Lions are getting good. Especially since Rodgers put up 3 TDs before he was knocked out, oh wait, they lost 7-3? Rodgers didn't lead not even one offensive scoring drive before he was knocked out? My bad...
-
QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 29, 2010 -> 10:36 AM) The Bears have been in that position and the fans were told we couldn't use injuries as an excuse because it is football and injuries happen. Too bad, so sad. I always tell anyone who'll listen that we lost that SB a few years ago because we lost Mike Brown and Tommie Harris
-
We had a s***load of injuries last year. Dammit, so now we are gonna rest our starters and let that overrated crap team get in the playoffs instead of going full out and putting them out of their misery...great.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 01:42 PM) When Cutler wins a single playoff game in the NFL, he will start getting more respect from these types -- and not until. I love Cutler, he plays hard and takes risks, and he's fun to watch because of these things...but in the NFL, he's proven absolutely nothing yet, to pretend or to say otherwise is false. This has always been my problem with Bears fans and their general arrogance that they get from who knows where. They're so easy to dislike because they have that "Cub" like mentality that they're the most awesomeist thing ever when in fact, they aren't. They want praise for everything their team does, but don't like to give praise to anyone else. When they win on a fluke play, it's part of the game, when they lose, it's not because the other team beat them, it's because they didn't show up, or some other such nonsense. I don't apply this mentality to all Bears fans, either...but there are the many, as I like to put it, 'Da Bers" fans...and this is directed at you if you're amongst them. OK, who's smarter...one thousand Y2HHs or a comatose Ditka?
