  1. I can´t believe a prima donna like LBJ will go join a team that already is Wade's...
  2. QUOTE (Nyx81 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 08:01 PM) my palms are sweaty. I already accepted the fact LBJ wont go to the Bulls. f**k him
  3. espn will have a big ol pie in the face if james doesnt go to miami
  4. ¡Vamos España! ¡La Furia Roja a partirle la madre a Holanda!
  5. F**K YOU SKY!!! Monopolizing every round of 16 game except for the Argentina/Mexico match. Have to watch USA Ghana on a crappy internet live stream... GO USA!!
  6. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jun 25, 2010 -> 12:23 PM) Yeah they had tough groups but they are a good team so more times than not they'll be stuck in a hard group because they wont be seeded. Ghana has been in tough pairings the past 2 WC's and they still were able to move on. They have managed 1 point in their 4 matches against the top teams in the groups. I guess the bad luck for them is always playing the weakest team in their final group match. By then the group has already taken shape and they are on the outside looking in. Andres Cantor call of Donovan's goal I thought Cantor was gonna have a heart attack after that...great call with a lot of emotion.
  7. The USA got robbed, even Mexican commentators are saying the ref called Lord knows what...
  8. Spain losing today doesn't help their reputation as WC underachievers... I don't see Mexico beating France, I predict a 2-1 French win but I would love to be proven wrong.
  9. QUOTE (zenryan @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 11:13 AM) Were you married or with your now wife in 2006? What was the quarterfinal game between Mexico-Argentina like for you and your family? We've been married since 2002, it was a blast when Argentina and Mexico played, watched it at her folks house and it was fun watching them suffer through the entire game until Maxi Rodriguez put in the game winner, they take their futbol so damn serious, lol. I took it in stride because I've always liked Argentina in soccer and seeing my wife happy made me happy too...plus my grandpa on my mom's side was from Mendoza, Argentina so it was win/win for me. That being said GO MEXICO...GO ARGENTINA!!!
  10. Always the same problem with the Mexican National Team...they have to create many chances to barely get 1 goal while the good teams score with less chances... If SA let's France and Uruguay control the ball like they let Mexico do in the first half, they'll get routed.
  11. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 10:10 AM) Interesting. Well there's my stupid American soccer ignorance showing lol. Soccer is my fifth fave sport behind baseball, football, basketball and hockey, I'm Mexican-American and I didn't know that either
  12. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 09:45 AM) Horrible offsides call, the defender was standing at the goal line. Since I'm here on vacation in Mexico, I'm watching it on Mexican TV and even they are saying it was a good offside call by the refs...there's a defensive player standing at the goal line! Is there some rule I'm not familiar with that you can be a defensive player, stand on the goal line and still have an offside call go your way??I don't get it. Mexico could easily be up 2 goals at halftime...
  13. South Afrrica look like a low skill but very speedy side, Mexico controlling the game the first 15 mins...
  14. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 10:45 PM) Celtics HAVE to win game 5. No chance in hell they win two in LA. yea, if they go back to LA up 3 games to 2, they have a decent shot.
  15. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 05:12 PM) It's the Cubs you numbskulls
  16. Mexico 1 South Africa 1 France 2 Uruguay 0 I'm predicting Messi will lead Argentina to their third WC win and my wife and her family will be very happy campers.
  17. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 11:57 PM) Agreed... While I'm very happy the Hawks won and I've always at least semi-followed the Hawks (see how they're faring, play as them in video games, etc), I would never try to say I'm a legit fan. Not like I am with the Bears, Bulls, and White Sox... So I'm very happy for you true fans. It's been a long time coming and you've put up with a lot over the years. totally agree, living in Chicago as a kid I was a huge Hawks fan, Bannerman and Savard were my idols but when my family moved to California I sorta stopped following them...I'm glad for all the diehard fans who stuck with them thru thick and thin...CONGRATS!!!
