Yep, QBs like Jayden Daniels or CJ Stroud who right away look legit are the outlier, not the standard, we should be patient with Caleb, especially considering the clusterfuck surrounding him. I hoping against all odds that the Bears finally do something right and surround him with competent coaching and a solid OL. That shouldn't be mission impossible but it's the Bears we're talking about.

He's been sacked 58 times so far, and way more than half have not been his fault, our OCs cannot scheme receivers open to save their lives...you don't give up on a highly touted rookie QB after one season, that's crazy talk, especially considering the circumstances, Peyton Manning was terrible in his rookie season...not saying Caleb will become Peyton but just putting it out there that you don't flip a #1 pick rookie QB after his first season lol.

Why on Earth would you flip a rookie QB with a ton of talent surrounded by a circus of an OL and 3 OCs in one season? That makes zero sense. Get him competent coaches and fix up the OL, that should be the Bears priority.

Resigning like in quitting, not signing himself to another contract. I think Caleb is a bit shell-shocked with that horrible OL and that's messing up his confidence and his accuracy, can't blame the kid, he's taken care of the ball all season and that fumble was totally not on him, never even saw the defender come in from his blind side.

The 49ers were able to sack Caleb a few times with only rushing 3 defenders, and it wasn't Caleb holding on to the ball too long either, no one was open and the defenders were on CW really quickly. Pathetic OL. Williams does look like the real thing though, doesn't turn the ball over and has looked good overall even with the huge disadvantage of being a rookie QB in a dysfunctional NFL franchise. Kid deserves so much more than this s%*# show.

Should've burned that last time out at the 20 second mark Problem is that it was 3rd and 26, and unless you connect of a big play for a first down then you can spike the ball and that is highly unlikely, only option you have there are out routes and the Lions DBs would be waiting for that, and throwing in the middle of the field to get Santos within comfortable FG range, I don't see that they would have enough time to quickly set up the FG try, I could be wrong though.

Looking at the bright side, Williams is for real, just need a better coaching staff to help him reach his roof, though Brown is doing a decent job as OC overall, much better than that waste that was Waldron

Bears could've beaten GB, Minny and Detroit with an above average HC. I can't blame the rookie, Flus should have called the TO, SMH
