  1. You would think 10 runs would be enough to get you a easy stress free game. Gonna have to get a couple of more runs to keep these Texas fuckos at bay
  2. Great to Ant busting out of his slump
  3. Finally a laugher, we can relax lol
  4. I get why he left Urquidy out there, the bullpen is gassed, you need our starters to go deeper into games or they'll be dead tired come playoffs...again, too many games.
  5. Exactly, that's what makes football so important, one game a week so the victory or defeat is just that much more important, happens in soccer too. Now I have no idea what would be the best solution, how many games a season but 162 is just too many. Maybe a maximum of 5 a week? Players get more rest, so they're fresher in the postseason, arms aren't as tired, fans don't need to watch baseball everyday, might save some marriages too lol
  6. This might sound like sacrilege but I always felt 162 games is way too many. When starting players get tired, it leads to bench players getting more playing time = lower quality of baseball. Makes you think how impressive that record Cal Ripken Jr holds, it'll never be broken.
  7. Rocker has an ERA of 7 his last 4 games and he's been wild tonight but that doesn't matter when half the Sox lineup can't hit their way out of a paper bag
  8. Yeah, too many times in the later innings the Sox have no challenges while the other team has both, I've noticed that.
  9. Anyone know how good or bad is the Rangers bullpen? Probably a moot point though, with half the Sox lineup slumping
  10. I think Mets or maybe the Reds announcers said they were dead last or near last in the league
  11. That was definitely worth a challenge
  12. They need to move Colson out of the 5th spot and into the 8th or 9th spot, he's complete garbage right now
  13. Urquidy looks as terrible as he looked good against the Cubs. I'm afraid he's not starter material, an innings eater out of the bullpen is what he is.
  14. Urquidy has nothing today, Texas makes him pay. Rocker also has nothing, we have to make him pay too.
  15. Antonacci got one right down the middle and hit it weakly. This dude is throwing trash. Mune is slumping HARD, Colson also or else the Sox should be eating up Rocker and spitting him out
  16. Game could easily be 4-3 Sox on top
  17. Yeah I think you're right, but having Robert in the OF makes them better defensively and adds some pop. Vargas loves Robert too. But yeah I don't think it happens.
  18. Is that a possibility? Do you think the Mets would waive Robert?
  19. That stranded runner at 3rd with one out predictably came back to bite us
