QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 09:58 PM) Haha, you must be new to my posts in the nba forum. I completely agree with all of your points. Lebron is still making the league look like child's play, though. Fair enough. LeBron = best of his generation easily, better than MJ? f*** no.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Nov 16, 2013 -> 08:50 PM) Also, pretty sure lebron has a chance of shooting over 60% this year. He's doing to the league what I could see prime mike doing today and making the league reconsider the hand check rule. He's playing the nba like a joke. e: I'm drunk. Lebron will have the best statistical season since the merger. I shudder to think what 87-93 Jordan would do in this perimeter friendly, breath on the offensive player and it's a foul league...also, weak era for big men and they can't camp their big asses in the paint. PJax and Larry Brown, who know basketball a little better than all of us here combined, have said that MJ could easily average 40 today. LeBron is good but he ain't MJ good. Case in point, do you think any team would leave MJ open and DARE him to shoot open Js in a Finals series? And that strategy would've worked had the Spurs been able to hit FTs or grab a f***ing rebound in the waning moments of Gm 6.

No punts, no kickoffs, no problem

Maybe the Bears should get that kid who does their onside kicks, Gould is atrocious. -
I was against the idea of starting Cutler so soon after his injury because A) he could reinjure himself, especially considering those dirty SOBs Detroit has at defense and B) the Bears O had a nice groove these last few games with McCown and didn't want to disrupt that in this crucial game. I didn't post my concerns during the week for fear of being called a "meathead" by the Cutleristas here. Cutler > McCown but it was a mistake starting Jay today...

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Nov 5, 2013 -> 11:02 PM) It means everything. Its pretty simple: Player A and Player B wont exist on the same team. Q1: Are either of these guys in imminent danger of going to jail? If so, cut him. If neither, go to Q2. If both, Welcome to Pro Football. Q2: Which of these two players gives my team, whos having a surprising playoff run, a better chance to win and a better chance for all of us to keep our jobs? Pick that guy and cut the other. Its just Martin is a colossal p**** undoubtedly raised to be a sensitive little b**** who first ran from the team then went to the media selling out everyone. Luckily he'll never play in the NFL again, I have no sympathy for someone like that. With posts like these, you just gotta love the Duke

In Trestman we trust

QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 10:29 PM) An asterisk on this win because Rodgers went down. WTF? Yeah, that's so lame. McCown isn't our starting QB either.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 10:32 PM) Yet GB has not 1 penalty what BS! Let's finish this!
-
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 08:47 PM) Run defense much improved these last few drives Also lol that throw Easier to stop the run when it ain't Rodgers back there in the pocket.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 08:35 PM) Rodgers out for the game. This game just got much more interesting. Odds of winning went from "snowball's chance in hell" to "we actually got a shot at winning this"
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 4, 2013 -> 07:10 PM) Cutler might come back this Sunday. Looking at the bright side, at least he won't throw any interceptions tonight

You guys ready for Pt. 1 of our annual beatdown at the hands of the Packers?
-
I find solace in the fact the while LBJ is the best player today, he ain't MJ (don't give a f*** what J4L thinks on this matter)... What I mean by that is once MJ became a champ, nobody knocked him off, maybe LeBron CAN be knocked off, the Spurs should have won gm 6 last year and only a miracle shot by Ray Ray saved Bron from a summer of ridicule.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 29, 2013 -> 01:46 PM) The biggest difference is instead of having the best player on the planet, the Bulls are now chasing the team with the best player on the planet. Yup, if we have to compare to that early 90's era, it feels more like we're the Knicks and the Heat are the Bulls
-
So when the Heat overload on Derrick again in the playoffs, whose gonna create his own shot (or create for others) to make the Heat pay? Butler? Old broken down Hinrich? Who? Are we even gonna be healthy come playoffs? Noah, Deng, Hinrich, I'm looking at you... I'm as giddy as anyone here on the Rose but I'm still skeptical on the Bulls actually knocking off prime LeBron. The dude just owns us in the postseason and I still don't see who we added who's going to take some pressure off Rose in late game situations. Personally, I don't think the Heat threepeat but I just don't see us as the team that puts them away. I really do hope I'm wrong though.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 03:05 PM) I'm not angry. You were correct. If Lovie were coaching, we'd have no injuries and everyone would be younger. f*** off
-
Wow, McCown looking good
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 20, 2013 -> 02:47 PM) If only we had Lovie Smith! Then Charles Tillman would be 5 years younger. I got the point dude, did you see me challenge your post? Are you always angry, jeez
-
Both Peanut and Conte misplayed that throw horribly. f***ing make a stop you bums!
-
lol, this is pathetic
-
McCown showing some mobility, didn't expect that...Forte TD!
