  1. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 04:04 PM) Has anyone from last year's draft class made their ML debut yet? The Giants drafted a 3B last year and had a hand-shake deal, so he had a Cup of Coffee last year., i think his name was Gillepsie?
  2. I really don't like Wise, but yeah, he didn't deserve to go out like that.
  3. Wow, Wise is going to be out for a while, isn't he?
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 03:48 PM) Actually I'd say there are a number of things that suggested what Swisher went through last year could have been well more than a single down year. What i'm trying to say is that career-wse he's been somewhat consistent, last year could have been the start of a decline, but i don't think the eventual decline will start till about two to three years. In short, last year Swish was bad, but he wasn't as bad as the numbers suggest.
  5. There was nonthing that suggested what Swisher went through last year was anything but a down year. I'm not suprised to see him hitting at a decent clip again.
  6. I bet you Gordon Beckham's in the top 5 within the next 5 years.
  7. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 03:40 PM) we were so happy (and i still am) to have gotten rid of swisher. yet in ny there so happy they got him, it was a steal in their eyes lol That's probably because it was a steal.
  8. I like that Ozzie is entertaining the Ramirez in center option
  9. Good to see Juan Rincon is indeed, still alive.
  10. Granderson isn't even up on my feed! Both this lag and this tension is killing me. What will happen five minutes into the future, i ask myself?
  11. Wow, my feed is late. Paulie just his his bomb for me.
  12. Jermaine Dye and Comerica Park appears to be a really great combo for the Pale Hose.
  13. I don't really believe in clutch, but Crede was the clutchest man alive.
  14. It does get the juices flowing. I get images of that electric charge i felt when i was in the city during the Series of 2005, just passion everywhere.
  15. I love the turn-around in our system, we have great things to look forward to for years to come. I'm very excited to see the draft this year, knowing our first pick won't be a safe soft-tosser.
  16. Swisher for Betemit is a terrible deal.
  17. I just want Pie to bite the Cubs in the ass. He's super-toolsy hopefully, he puts it together soon.
  18. Reed Johnson has quite the glove. Last year, he made one of the best plays you'll ever see in Washington.
  19. I see Slayer as a proto-two hitter, assuming Getz hits well (and Danks isn't ready in two years) i'd leave him at the top, have Q, third, and move on from there.
  20. The lack of Michael Dubee in the top five of each of these lists is troubling...kidding... probably.
  21. The Orioles are getting increasingly fun to watch. When Wieters, Matsuz,Tillman, and Arrita come up, they might have something good brewing.
  22. The Cubs might have to give up everything for Peavy just so they can move Marshall to the pen. They have no options in the Minors, who are worth giving a shot.
