  1. Hey, A.J. What do you say next time you have one of your awesome black and white colored, traditional games of catch with Peavy, you tell him to stop shaking you off. I hate these damn commercials.
  2. Hang whiff 'em count is two: We're adding this to the 2010 White Sox drinking game along with crap play by Teahen at 3b and Pierre/Kotsay grounds out to 2nd.
  3. Hawk needs so stop with this, "hang whiff 'em line. " He's abusing it, it's overplayed.
  4. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 29, 2010 -> 07:18 PM) Holy crap, I thought Danks was Kotsay right there. I had a nightmare where that happened. It was awful.
  5. Wow, A.J. had a massive hissy fit on his way to first after that ground out.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 29, 2010 -> 06:37 PM) Twins score six to blow open game with the Rangers, now 8-2. Well, the positive of that is that the Rangers will become more and more desperate to trade with someone in the next 2 months. Especially, with Max Ramirez struggling too. They might even take loan on Konerko, if Smoak doesn't figure it out soon.
  7. I think we win this one. I just have that feeling. Go Danks! Go Sox!
  8. All we want is a closer who doesn't suck, Greg. We can close our eyes and squint really hard and imagine that Bobby is 20 pounds heavier with 2 more miles per hour on his heat and actual break on his curve, but that doesn't make it any closer to the reality. He's bad, and we'll be lucky to get anything for him, but we need to try.
  9. Hynick with a nice line tonight. I'd like to see him back up at AAA sooner rather than later. He's a little too old for AA.
  10. I agreed with every move that our manager made tonight. It's nice to be able to say that.
  11. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ May 28, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) If we don't win this game, Ozzie needs to fire Cora when he returns. Unbelievable to not put your closer in when the tying run is at the plate. Are you for real? Have you been watching what Jenks has been doing these last two years?
  12. Cora managed a great game tonight. That might not bode well for Ozzie...
  13. Alright!!!! That's the Sox baseball i wanna see!!!
  14. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ May 28, 2010 -> 09:45 PM) Now put Bobby in to close it out. Be smart Joey. That's not smart.
  15. HE GAWN. Thornton averaging 94.5 MPH on his fastball.
  16. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 28, 2010 -> 09:40 PM) Is anyone as shocked as I am that AJ is "leading the league" in least amount of strikeouts this year? He has only 9 K's in 143 AB......Pierre is 3rd with only 13 K's in 191 AB. Nah, he swings at everything and tends to put it on the ground.
  17. QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ May 28, 2010 -> 09:37 PM) who cares as long as he gets the job done in save situations. That's what his role is. He's going to implode really soon, to ignore these trends is simply wishful thinking. You don't keep throwing a guy out their to close games, if he's going to let people on-base and give up hits.
