1. QUOTE (LVSoxFan @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 03:42 PM) Just make sure that when you're sitting in club level and a foul ball approaches, make sure you drop it every time. Why? Because EVERYBODY ELSE ON THAT LEVEL ALWAYS DOES... Nice. Won't be bringing a glove, but I will try and do my best Kevin Mitchell and do away with the perception that the 1%'ers can't catch for s***.
2. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 03:05 PM) 300 peeps are considered above 100 peeps, who are considered above 500 peeps. So yes, you can go to 500 or 100 without issues. Edit: The day you buy a 300 seat, you've become a Sox 1%'er and an elitist. I know we sat in the Club Level back in like '93 when we were still rockin' the old sky blue seats. Just been so long I didn't know what was what up there anymore. I guess I didn't buy those seats myself though, so this would officially put me in the 1%.
3. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 02:50 PM) If you can afford it, it's well worth it. The biggest plus is the temperature-controlled concourse, especially if it's a very hot or very cold day. Second biggest plus is the limited access to that level--it will never be very crowded. Another bonus is that you have a server who comes to your section to take food and drink orders. Only real downsides are that you of course are not as close to the field as the 100 level, and that there is a better food selection on the 100 level. So with a 300 level ticket....is it the same as a 500 level ticket in terms of I will NOT be able to access the 100 level AT ALL during the game??
4. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 02:11 PM) All this, and its really quite nice. I've done it a couple times. I wouldn't do it a lot or do season tickets because it is so much more expensive, but, for an occasional treat, totally worth it. Yeah, it's her 65th B-day (sshhhhh, she doesn't look a day over 50) so that was kind of the idea. Thanks for all your comments, I think you guys have me sold already!
5. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 02:02 PM) When I was there the food was good and the view is the best in the park. Was there a menu? I heard something about having "your own" (your section I would suppose) waiter/waitress who will bring food and drinks. Any truth to that?
6. My Mother is a huge Sox fan and I want to take her to Elvis night, Aug 3rd vs. the Angels. I see where I can snag some Club Level (Sec 318) seats for about $75 per ticket. My question is, have any of you sat in the Club Level recently, and if so what are the pros/cons?? They have their own vendors? They have an AC bar or restaurant? Their own bathrooms? How's the view? Any input is much appreciated!!
7. Lol HAWK...yeah he can hit it 700 ft. Over the United sign. LOL
8. Why did Robin put Youk in the two hole? Beckham...blah blah blah.
9. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:13 PM) Can we get this man some runs, geez! Its starting to seem like the entire team HATES Peavy
10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) Only 1 ball hit hard all game, whatever it is he's doing. Yeah, nibble away....he gawn!
11. QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:08 PM) Yeah if teams were smart they use any lefty they could against us. Hell, D-Weezy shut us down!! Smart phone my ass
12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) Team continues to struggle big time against LHP. Scary considering they could easily face 7 in a row. Yeah if teams were smart they use any lefty they could against us. Hell, D-Weezy shut us down!!
13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 07:40 PM) Comcast Sportsnet just read this post. LMAO...THAT was timing. And thanks to you guys for the full version! f***ing hilarious!! Becks has the Jake-meister to a T. LOL at Stone making fun of Alexi's dad again...he looks just like AR
14. Anyone have the link to Beckhams video impersonating Peavy handy?? It would be MUCH appreciated.
15. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 07:25 PM) Dunn called out on strikes on a 85 MPH fastball. Equal opportunity I guess
16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) AJ is a man. QUOTE (johnnymick @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 07:20 PM) Not just a man, my friend. AJ is the man. Pretty nice job in getting that tag down by Beckham too. It was an excellent throw, especially given the situation, but it was high and a hair to the 3rd base side. Just sayin, Gordo did a god job to put that on Bautista with the quickness!
17. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jul 3, 2012 -> 12:58 PM) let's do it. I think you accidentally made your post green.
18. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Jul 2, 2012 -> 05:49 PM) Don't want the 75 million dollar 2-pitch pitcher coming back less than 100%. He needs to be healthy for the 2 pitches to work effectively, specifically spotting the 92mph fastball on the outer half, never daring to throw it inside to good hitters or really any hitters for that matter.. I need him healthy enough to walk 3-6 batters per game consistently too. JD's biggest fan???
19. Hold em and let the bottom half of the order do some work!!
20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:47 PM) He's not had a very good series against his old rivals. He has not, but still has some ABs to make up for it. And the sun thing....not sure but how many times has he played a day game at third in the new Yankee Stadium. I have no clue but I would guess he spent most of his time at first with a lot of night games in the mix. Either way, gotta make that the end of that scharade....BEAT THE SUN YOUK!!
21. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:39 PM) If that average gets into the .140-150 range, I wonder if they look to send him down and acquire another back-up catcher? He has been Peavys personal catcher for much of tne year thus far though...
22. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:35 PM) Lots of righties in the Sox lineup today. Gonna make it tough with that sweeping slider Kuroda is throwing way off the plate. Beat me
23. QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:35 PM) 3 outside pitches and waved at all 3. Stop it Viciedo. QUOTE (kapzk @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:35 PM) steady diet of sliders/cutters for Viciedo If this ump is giving the outside corner on righties like that Viciedo will have a rough day along with the rest of our righty-heavy lineup.
