Well boys and girls I'm leaving for Mazatlan, Mex. in about a half hour here. I'll be back next weekend sometime. Take care.

You are the biggest piece of motherf***ing s*** I have ever seen in my life. You're damn right God Bless your son...I wonder how he feels that his dad is out in the streets protesting the same damn thing that he is fighting and putting his life on the line for. Yeah you're right jackass I'm a f***ing Nazi because I am saying that by protesting the war we aren't supporting our troops. You have every right to disagree with the decisions of the administration TO A CERTAIN POINT. Up until the minute that Bush declared war you can argue whatever you want...but the second are troops are over there fighting you better sack up and support the cause and just hope it goes as well as possible. Oh yeah me and my soulmate Saddam have a date next weekend to discuss what demonstrations accomplish. And since any pro-war supporters apparently do nothing to support the troops like you protesters do, then then tell me what you think is a better gesture. 1) You on the street with signs saying No War with Iraq. Or 2) Me spending part of my afternoon writing letters that will be delivered to the soldiers in Iraq telling them that we are thinking about them and we are all behind them and hope they return safely. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE f*** YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU f***ING COCKSUCKER!!! Just because your son has 100 times the loyalty to our nation and is a brave American fighting for freedom doesn't give you the right to tell anyone what is the right thing to do. :fyou f*** YOU :fyou
-
Yeah nothing tells our troops, our brothers, sisters, families, that we are there for them and support them like protesting out on the streets, virtually telling them that they are doing wrong.
-
What do you expect that protests are going to accomplish?
-
No his statement was correct...what he meant to say was this I think: "I was one of those guys..... and just last week I posted that Loaiza has outperformed and outpitched Rauch. Loaiza should be awarded the starting position...and I was lobbying for Rauch. Given the way Rauch pitched the at the end of 2002's season, I thought Rauch would be able to outpitch Loaiza. I was wrong. "

Delarro was our opening day SS last year...but he went by the name Royce Clayton. We all know exactly how all field - no hit shortstops go over with the fans. Hopefully tho Jason has a little better range, and from what I have heard, a MUCH better arm than Royce ever did. He might have a chance if he could ever figure out how to use the stick.

Without question I think you would have to add Randy Johnson. We could run a staff up there of (with likely # of wins in parenthesis): Randy Johnson (20-24) Bartolo Colon (18-20) Mark Buehrle (18-20) Jon Garland (12-15) Dan Wright (12-15) That gives us between 80 and 94 wins just from our starting 5!!! We would be the easy favorite to win the WS with three #1 starters on our staff.

So yeah forget that post of mine entirely...I have neither Hunter nor Anderson in this league. I have them both in a different league and just got the two mixed up...sorry for the confusion.
-
Torii Hunter may be on the trading block...along with Garret Anderson (although it would take quite a bit to get him). If anybody needs an OF I may be willing to deal for some good infielders.
-
well..my fantasy teams is F&*%$# !!!!

Yeah I don't know what Mota's problem is but he couldn't backpedal fast enough getting away from the Mets. Piazza just came tearing after him before getting tackled by the infielders...then all of a sudden Jeromy Burnitz got onto Mota's trail and was barreling down on him before getting tackled...then little Joe Ewing came flying in and slipped as Mota ran into the dugout and into the clubhouse. The Met's were PISSED and Mota is lucky he didn't get the hell beat out of him.
-
I don't blame Piazza one bit. I would be pissed as hell if I were him. Mota better watch his ass when they play NY this year, after watching Piazza go after him looking like the Devil himself I think it might be in Mota's best interests not to try anything further.

What do you base that thinking upon? Albert Pujols is 23 years old and been in the majors 2 years...here are his stats for his first two years: 2001 .329 37 130 2002 .314 34 127 Morris is in his 5th year and at 28 years old he is lifetime 64-34 with a 3.18 career ERA! Pujols is twice the player Lee will ever be and IMO Morris is just as good as MB, and certainly good enough to make up the difference between Lee and Pujols.
-
No way. you are nicer than me. I would have said, no way in hell WHAT!!! I would do that trade in a second...there is no way that St. Louis would do that trade and you would have to be nuts not to.
-
Yeah so I can finally get back onto the boards tonight...approximately 10 days or so I would say since I have last been able to access them. Not being able to get in sucks...hopefully it won't happen again soon.
-

Holy s*** RPS...my dick would be sore. I'm off to some parties now to go see what I can round up...I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.
-
I disagree...as I'm sure you know...and I guess it is just going to have to stay at that. There is no way we are going to agree on this issue. I know there are people who agree with me and I'm sure there are some that agree with you. I'm just leaving it at that because there is no reason to sit here and argue about the same thing over and over when neither one of us is going to change our view. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
-
Yeah I do. They entered the armed forces for that specific reason. If they aren't there to defend our country while risking their lives why would they be? Nobody forced them to enter the military and nobody is forcing me to. I really don't understand your logic, or lack thereof, of thinking on this.
-
yes it does. totally. whwere is the "we" in the "we should fight"? if you believe in something you back it up with your life. If America needs to do this, put down your beer and your living for yourself lifestyle and go do what you think "we" ought to do. That is required of a real patriot. otherwise, you are just another safe at home blow hard putting other people lives on the line so you talk big and do nothing. That is such BS. So just because I will not register what do I have to say...that nation there America should fight. f*** that, I am just as much a participating citizen of the United States as you are. I have every right to believe in war and voice my opinion for it without needing myself to go and fight. I believe and trust in the armed services which WE as a nation have assembled. Like I said, if the government deems it necessary to institute a draft, then ok I am there and I will be willing to fight. That is how the American government and political system is structured so don't go telling me that I can't be for the war without being over there with a gun in my hands.

According to Top Prospect alert

Yeah you're probably right...we do owe France for their limited, self interest based help in the Revolutionary War. Forget all that WWII stuff tho...if it weren't for us they would be speaking German today.
-
That is the biggest load of f***ing s*** I have ever read. Let me lay this out real easy for you. I believe we need to take military action in Iraq, I believe France is f***ing full of s*** and they are benefiting from Saddam and Iraq and could care less what the right thing to do is because it will hurt them, I am 20 years old and I have not and will not enlist in the army voluntarily. We already have an armed forces assembled to proceed with any measures the government deems necessary. These are people who have voluntarily joined the services knowing full well what they were getting into. I myself do not want to fight, HOWEVER, if the government decides it is necessary to draft further forces I will enter the draft. So don't go off telling me that I'm a "pansy woos moral coward piece of s*** blowhard hypocrite." If my government needs me to go fight I will, but we can go on with military action right now with the best, most well trained, dedicated armed forces in the world. Those who are in the services right now are they because they want to be there. They are the one's who have dedicated their lives to the army for the time being. So just because I am not enlisting voluntarily doesn't take away from the fact that I think we should fight.
