I don’t necessarily know if he’s getting better or it was a reflection of the lineup, he continues to rake just didn’t have to press and be the only mode offense for the Sox. He actually had protection for the first time in his career.

James McCann is god to some and the fact he won’t be brought back as Gios personal catcher gets a lot of people fired up I guess

In my opinion Dunning has a spot In the rotation on lock down. He showed more poise and control than Cease ever has in a Sox uniform

Gio, Keuchel, Free Agent, Dunning, Kopech....simply not enough spots in the rotation. Honestly wouldn’t be shocked in both cease and Lopez are not on the Whitesox next season and they bring in someone via trade as well.
