To be fair what’s to gain from throwing names out there? I’m just as anxious as the next person but we saw what happened last offseason when there was info on the Joc Pederson deal out there. We are all whitesox fans but sometimes not knowing at the moment is better than all of their business being out on the street. Keep doing you WSD.

If you are trading a top notch prospect or multiple ones, Rick better hope that whoever they are acquiring will put them over the top.....admittedly a little nervous and trading a few of these could make or break this rebuild

I think people are seemingly forgetting who Castellanos agent is. I don’t think the Sox want to do business with him.

Not saying this is why bmags doesn’t like him but you are going to have a lot of fans mad if they sign him in general simply because he’s not as big of a household name as castellanos, hasn’t been spoken as much about or linked as a possibility of signing with us, while his stats haven’t been the same since 2017. Depending on the money he will command that will upset another portion of the fan base. I’m kinda meh to it, I think he’s a great compliment to the rest of the lineup and if he’s your number 6 hitter you aren’t doing too shabby in my opinion

I don’t understand the hate, he’s been spot on with the eloy extension even if the dollar amount wasn’t exact as well as a few other things in the past.

What? It was put out by a reporter in the DR, someone else also had said the Ozuna family believe this to be true as well. Doesn’t make much sense to have the beat writers here in the states bluntly deny it, you would want them to spread that rumor as well would be my guess. The hush hush part is just because of machado and wheeler fallouts is my guess.

Any chance a Joc trade still happens if this deal goes through and we put Ozuna at DH most the time?
