DID YOU KNOW: That Derrick Rose shot a higher percentage from midrange last year than DWade has in any year of his career?

Katy Perry #1 on Maxim hot 100
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 10:09 PM) I'd like to nominate Brooklyn Decker as #1. All in favor? I agree! YES.

Yes, Blake is a Laker. And I'm glad we didn't pay Livingston 7 over 2. Yes we need a backup point, but that's gonna be a 10-14 mpg spot for us. I'd rather sign someone cheaper and put real money elsewhere.- 2010 All Star Game Thread
Thornton just blew us home field advantage!!!!!!!11!11- NBA Offseason Thread
I would bet just about anything the Bulls will be a top 4 team in the east. Probably top 3- NBA Offseason Thread
I would definitely not include Bosh in my top 4 players of the NBA list- Heyman: Sox may consider Oswalt
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 12, 2010 -> 09:59 AM) Aren't Peavy & Oswalt best friends or very good friends? http://drunkathlete.com/2008/09/08/jake-pe...uy-out-the-bar/- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jul 12, 2010 -> 02:10 PM) Is it too early to start saying "Thibs will fix him"? We're getting to that kind of territory before he even coaches his first game for the Bulls... All I said was one of the best defensive minds in the league, which is a pretty commonly held fact.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 12, 2010 -> 01:37 PM) Offense certainly isn't going to be this teams problem, we're going to score some points. Offense isn't going to be the problem and we have one of the best defensive minds in the league for a coach and a beast of a defensive center I'm gonna love this team.- NBA Offseason Thread

I like the Korver pickup and the contract. Kind of indifferent to Redick, if they don't match I'll be pleased because I think he would be a good fit, but if they do match I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. Redick isn't really a defensive liability, the guy works his ass off on D and is actually pretty respectable. Also, the Bulls have been in negotiations with Ronnie Brewer which would be perfect for the big/defensive/finishing 2.- NBA Offseason Thread

AlanHahn: Hearing Miami is close to completing a three-team deal to move Michael Beasley and get a trade exception back to open up more cap space.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 01:03 PM) Hey I was the first one who predicted he is ours. With that said I'll say it is Us, Cleveland or Miami. Knicks and Nets are 4th and 5th on his list. Yusss, my apologies I am trying to get some academic s*** done right now so I can get out of town this afternoon. Why would Boozer jump at such an offer so quickly with other teams clearly interested? Also this is like 2 weeks old but I love it. From Chad Ford on Bill Simmons podcast:- NBA Offseason Thread
I REMAIN THE ONLY ONE WITH WITH STRONG HOPE (and rowand). Believe people- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:44 PM) Boozer apparently told people Lebron is 50/50 right now between NY and MIA. Saw that too, Lebrons camp is literally putting s*** out there about basically every team. I think in the end it's Cleveland vs. Chicago. I'll gladly admit I was wrong but I've been saying this for a couple days so let's hope I'm not way off.- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:44 PM) Just saw your updated Harris' stats...AWESOME! How can you argue with that kind of production?- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:40 PM) And if WWW is the one telling them he's coming there, then the Bulls know nothing also! No chance in hell would the Bulls still be basing any confidence on WWW- NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 12:31 PM) If the Bulls missed out, what does everyone think they do. Will they sign 2 or 3 guys? Will they pull off a trade? Will they move guys and accumulate expiring deals to have cap room for next year? Outside of Melo, who is potentially available next season? I'd personally like to sign a couple guys. A shooter (Redick/Korver/Morrow), a big guard (Brewer/Childress), and another big man (Asik?).- NBA Offseason Thread
I feel like signing a legitimate center would be more valuable. - NBA Offseason Thread
