For Arizona to NC for 1 game then on to Cleveland? This game is so dumb. That's seriously the only word.

Is there something wrong with Allen Iverson's game? HOFer right?
-
Ozzie doesn't look at splits, we all know this. Quentin will play against lefties cause he is a righty, and his off days will be vs righties

QUOTE (hi8is @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 05:40 AM) Speaking of baseball networks - anyone else fell that Al Liter on MLB Network is a *bit* too - ummm... enthusiastic? B) I heard his all AL Central team was a joke.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 29, 2011 -> 03:06 AM) Dwight got another technical tonight, debatable to say the least, hopefully it gets rescinded tomorrow. Melo finally had a good game, not really a huge suprise though, since we struggle to guard really good wing players and have Nelson, Redick and Q-Rich all injured. The Earl Clark had to guard him for 17 mins and fouled out. How about Howard just stops acting like a complete tool to the refs?

Worst game of year? Probably not, but top 3.
-
I never thought MLB Network was biased, but almost every preseason game they showed this year involved the Yanks or Saux.
-
Ozzie doesn't plan on pitching Ohman against righties in the regular season, right?
-
LMAO at the Cubs fans waving the W flags and going nuts after the win

I hate conspiracy theorists. Phelps won. Its amazing how the Music City Miracle and Phelps v Cavic are still questioned even though there is video evidence confirming the rulings.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 2, 2011 -> 03:12 PM) Still was a forward pass. No it was definitely 100% not a forward pass.

Morel making it look easy on a smash to 3rd

Did anyone catch that unbelievably bush league move by Hilton Armstrong at the end of the game last night? Dude pretended to shake CJ Watson's hand as CJ was dribbling off the last 10 seconds, stole the ball, ran up and hit a 3. I was in shock. The Bulls were in shock. Unreal.

Richmond should be kicked off the team. I've heard that if they could have derecruited him, they would have. The KID (he doesn't even deserve the term "guy") is pure trouble and distraction.
-
QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 21, 2011 -> 06:53 AM) How dare you! You are suppose to blame the refs for Illinois lack of success this year. Get with the program! That's every year including '05 with their quack fans.

The shots didn't fall for Illinois tonight. That game was there for the taking.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 20, 2011 -> 01:18 AM) Someone is offering to give me Illinois +19.5 (actual line is +8.5). I'm not trying to be a homer but think I have to take it... Can I have his phone #?

QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 19, 2011 -> 11:43 PM) ok, youre trolling. You did pretty good. Trolling? You must not know the definition of trolling. And did they or did they not lose to Michigan in the BTT? And did Michigan win by 30 on Friday?

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 19, 2011 -> 11:23 PM) Illinois has 14 losses to UConn's 9 (out of conference games also count), and also has Kemba Walker. They also have quite a few more quality wins than Illinois, and I'm not sure how anybody watches those two teams and doesn't conclude UConn is a much better team. UCONN is definitely better than Illinois. I only brought up UCONN to show 9 conference losses is a ridiculous thing to judge teams on. Illinois played 18 games against teams in the tournament. They beat Wisconsin and North Carolina and destroyed Gonzaga (who was favored today vs BYU, wtf?). They played very well against Purdue x2, OSU, and Texas among others. Yeah they lost to UIC and Indiana but s*** happens especially when you live by the 3. Heck Florida lost to Jacksonville and Syracuse got crushed by Seton Hall. Illinois was like 1-8 in games decided by 5 or less or in OT. Win a few of those and they are a 4/5 seed easy. Again, I'm not saying Illinois is going to win. Heck I'm not even saying that they're good. But they are no worse than Cincinnati or Washington. They are an incredibly inconsistent team, but you can say that for most of the teams in the tournament this season.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 19, 2011 -> 11:15 PM) I must have missed the part of Illinois winning the B10 tournament. You can say people may be overlooking Illinois but they not underrated. They are exactly where they should be. Yeah they got knocked out of the tournament by a team who won by 30 yesterday.
-
QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 19, 2011 -> 11:09 PM) lol, underrated teams dont lose 9 conference games in a season. Also love how you dismiss the polls others bring up because they dont support your opinion. 4th place in the Big Ten. Oh, and you know who else lost 9 games in conference? UCONN
-
They are underrated because they got a 9 seed when they were ranked top 20 by the 2 ratings systems that people who actually know college basketball trust the most. But you guys can knock yourselves out with RPI and the coaches poll.
-
QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 19, 2011 -> 03:30 PM) That's absurd. The team went 9-9 in conference and lost to UIC. They may have talent, but their RPI sits at 48 which is a more accurate assessment of what the team actually achieved instead of how good or bad they looked doing it. RPI is a joke. "Really Poor Indictator" Anyone that knows anything about college basketball will tell you this.
-
As much as I've ragged on Illinois this year, they are extremely underrated. I'll bet that hardly anyone realizes that Pomeroy has them at 16th in the country and Sagarin has them at 19th. I'm not saying they will, because they are choke artists, but Illinois can beat Kansas.

Richmond has talent but the guy is a complete d-bag
