  1. Well, you can cancel the postgame show!
  2. With the 100+ mph heat, Aroldis Chapman comes to mind.
  3. Very enjoyable game to watch. Pitching from DK throughout the bullpen was spot on. Explosive home run ball off of several bats. TA doing some excellent White Sox promo in front of a national audience while mic'ed up on the field. All in all, a very good night for White Sox Nation!
  4. Like the effective veteran he is. He didn't have his best stuff early on but battled through and gave his team a chance to win, which they did!
  5. Sssshhhh! There's a baseball game on right now.
  6. Nice, Jose! How do you like dem apples, America!!!
  7. Tim Anderson owned it in front of a national audience earlier on ESPN when the Sox were clubbing the Cubs. He's now doing it again in front of this Fox audience. Is there nothing he can't do!
  8. Nice, TA - Part Deux!
  9. I feel like the White Sox are just the guests tonight on Fox's "The Trevor Bauer Show".
  10. We really couldn't ask for better faces of the franchise than both of our MVP candidates.
  11. Luis Robert is a future all-around star for our team. We've all seen glimpses of the greatness that awaits him. Right now, he's young and still new to the league, so it's not surprising in the least he's hit a tough stretch. He's only going to reach his full potential if he is given the chance to work through these growing pains. He's going to get there, just everyone be patient. When he comes out the other end of this slump he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. Just relax and let him get there.
  12. Zero zero after two?
  13. I could understand any fan angst re: Kopech if, in this abbreviated season with expanded playoffs, the Sox came up a game or two short of making the postseason. That is obviously not the case this season. We should just enjoy the dance in 2020 with those who brung us, and then enthusiastically look forward to the elite talent infusion next season with both Kopech and Vaughn. It is downright scary (in a good way) just how talented this team can/will be once those two are brought into the fold, given how good we look now.
  14. Depending on how things go in the postseason with the team, but Jose has the potential to be the real feel-good story for the game next month. Lots to love here, both with his own performance and evolution along with how he is central to this team's current and future success. He has a chance to shine a really positive light on this franchise nationally in a way we haven't seen in a long, long time.
  15. As has been said many times, you get to the playoffs and then ANYTHING can happen. So why not the White Sox all the way in 2020!
  16. The league has made an adjustment to our very talented rookie. But once he makes his adjustment to their adjustment, watch out!
  17. You write the check and I'll cash it for ya!
  18. Or let's get another W tonight. Two innings to go and only two runs down. Why not!
  19. They got us right where we want them!
  20. Our ace doesn't have his best stuff tonight. He's human just like every other ace in the history of the game. But what separates an ace from other pitchers is that when he doesn't have his lights out stuff, he's still able to keep his team in the game. Lucas has done just that tonight and has given the Sox a chance to win this game despite the fact he wasn't as dominating as usual. Great job tonight, Lucas!
  21. That pitch was a beaut!
