They had Steve Philips on the score this morning, he said players with NTC cant be claimed on the waiver wire, they can only be traded if they pass through unclaimed. If a team claims a player with a NTC on the waiver wire, they are immediately pulled off as a block. So if this is the case, obviously the twins would put a claim on Manny to block us from getting him

I would love to see a six man rotation but unfortunately with the way 25-man rosters are set up, it would give the manager a lack of flexibility on either the bench or in the bullpen. But with the stats indicating our starters having a full run better ERA with extra days rest, it would be a really REALLY strong rotation

Ozzie will play a guy who's underperforming like Mark until the FO/Kenny Williams releases him or sends him down. In the mean time, Ozzie will always play his veteran players over the kids. So until Kenny takes Mark off the roster, this is what Ozzie is going to continue doing. Hopefully Kenny decides that it's time to move on without Mark and eats the rest of his contract, I'm fairly confident that Kotsay would understand... as he's been absolute s*** and is getting every opportunity to snap out of it, it's just not working. Sucks for us fans unfortunately
