Grandal is still a good catcher. He just had a terrible year last year but can bounce back. Being injured for pretty much the whole year didn’t help.

Grifol was a catcher and helped Salvy become the catcher he is today. I’m interested to see how he will help Grandal.

I thought Eloy vs Wall account was the CPA but maybe both are?

He will probably take another bench coach position somewhere or will not coach for a year and wait it out until a managerial position opens up.

They needed to hire someone from the outside with some fresh new ideas and they did that. This is a good hire.

That’s my worries. The front office wants to move forward and not in the past but JR just wants to do what he wants to do. I guess we’ll find out soon.

If Guillen is the new manager than JR stepped in again and overruled the process. Would be very typical and downright ridiculous doing it a second time.

IMO, I think it’s going to be either Long or Guillen. If there’s no announcement before the WS than it’s Long.

If it was Ozzie they probably would have announce it by now or atleast by Friday I would have to imagine.

Could you imagine what it would be like when the machine argues balls and strikes with the automatic umpires who are also machines? ?

They should hire nobody….just let it run itself. They may have more luck.
