  1. Fields isn’t the problem. It’s the O-line and the receivers. You have a boatload of cash in the offseason to work with, enough of the excuses already and add some top tier free agents with athleticism. For fucks sake.
  2. That report was from Nightengale and was already shot down by some insiders.
  3. It sounds like they are hesitant with Bochy because of his health issues.
  4. I actually like what they are doing here. Conducting an actual search instead of settling on someone. Wish they would’ve done this in 2021.
  5. I would prefer a younger manager but they seem to like old and experienced managers so out of that whole group I would prefer Bochy. However, I see where your coming from, we may very well end up in the same position two years from now with the managerial position.
  6. Bochy would be fine, but for fucks sake conduct a real search. If after they do the search and they still want an experienced manager than hire Bochy.
  7. Ron Washington, a frontrunner lol. This organization can’t get out of its own way.
  8. Our analytics guy was out there last year laying down the law.
  9. No, I think JR is going to have a say again and it will be Ron Washington. Lol
  10. You didn’t hear, we hired a new GM. His name is Tony Flenderson. The organization is going to have a new culture and a new way of looking at things. Get excited!
  11. I think we can win with Moncada, Robert and Jimenez in the same lineup but they need to stay healthy. The positions are a problem though. We have too many 1B/DH types playing the outfield. If you take Eloy out of LF and plug him into the DH role and take Vaughn out of the outfield and put him at 1B that’s a better way to go but that means making some tough decisions in terms of letting go some players . They will have to let go one or two of Abreu/Vaughn/Sheets/Eloy. That would free up Colas to play either RF or LF and Pollock to play the other or the flexibility to use Pollock off the bench and sign a left handed corner outfielder.
  12. If Jose is indeed gone, I hope they treat him well on the way out. He was nothing but loyal to the organization and played his heart out.
