  1. If the Bears build something similar to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas that would be pretty cool but make it their own. I have no idea what the whole fuss is about playing in a permanent dome because most stadiums now have sliding doors in the ends zones and certain type of roofs to let light in, etc. to make it an outdoor feel to the game. Wait until the actual design of the stadium is finished before assuming the worse. The plans for the redevelopment of AP look so much better than what the city was throwing at them. Just that the Bears haven’t released the actual design of the new stadium yet but that takes time to create. The Bears hired the same designer that worked on Allegiant Stadium so some people need to relax!
  2. The whole argument of the Bears playing outdoors gives them home field advantage is a crock of bull. It’s more of an advantage when the stadium will be closer to Halas Hall than because of the weather.

  4. Soldier Field is hard to get to, the parking and the traffic sucks, it’s fully owned by the Chicago park district which means they have total control of what’s invested into the stadium such as the playing field, it’s way too small, the surrounding area is not that safe and don’t get me started on the design of the spaceship that is dropped inside the columns. Time to move on.
  5. It’s a placeholder and not what the actual stadium will look like. Lol
  6. I find it funny that people think that the image of the proposed stadium in AH the Bears released yesterday looks like a bar of soap or an ice block. It’s just a rendering or placeholder and not the final design of the stadium. They have actually hired the designer of the stadium already and they are probably working on it as we speak so no the rendering is not what the stadium will actually look like when completed. Lmao.
  7. I noticed something in the dugout, Cairo was pumping up Abreu. That’s something you don’t see from Tony. He’s bringing more energy to the team and the players seem to be feeding off of it.
  8. What a bunch of clowns! When did the clown show come into town?
  9. If Cairo takes over as manager permanently, Menechino will be kept as the hitting coach. Pathetic!
  10. Ozzie is not going to save this team and organization. It’s someone that doesn’t have ties to the organization. However, JR has different priorities and will not hire someone from outside the organization so the only way things will change is if he sells the team and to whom.
  11. Nothing is going to change until JR sells the team.
  12. We need some fresh ideas from outside the organization. Enough of this already!
  13. This guy always tweets something about the Sox when something happens. Lol
  14. They are too right handed. They need to add more LHH’s to balance out the lineup. They also have too many position players that play multiple positions or out of position so they need to trade one or two of them.
  15. The good thing is the offseason is coming soon and it’s an exciting time to keep up with coaching changes, free agents signings and trades. I’ve been keeping up with some college basketball recruiting, specifically Illinois basketball which has been keeping my mind off of the Sox this year and I’m overall sports fan year round so I get into college sports in the fall, winter and spring so there’s plenty to get into. It just depends on what you enjoy.
