  1. QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:25 PM) I think even Walker's biggest supporters would be up for a change. This spread stance crap is nonsense, as he's not even close to getting the barrel on the ball. I guarantee Ozzie wants to send him down. Thats so right. He hasn't squared a ball up in a long time...one time, the final Texas game.
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) Hawk sounds more pessimistic than any of us. With that said, we're going to get no-hit one of these days. I thought the same thing earlier this year...it's inevitable I think.
  3. Royals come back from 8-0 down to tie their game at 9-9. Hillman rewards them by putting in Bruce Chen to try and hold the Rangers down. I'm sure this ends well...
  4. Kotsay to play first base tonight now due to Paulies neck pain... Pierre Beckham Jones Rios Quentin Alexei Castro Kotsay Nix
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 6, 2010 -> 05:00 PM) Would Juan Pierre have any XBH if he played at the Little K (next to Kauffman) or at Williamsport Little League World Series diamonds #1-4? That's all I am asking... It's only 125 ft to straight away center at the little K...I think Juan could do it.
  6. I have to make my monthly visit to my mothers...Sadly I will probably miss the first 4 or 5 innings.
  7. QUOTE (hogan873 @ May 6, 2010 -> 11:05 AM) Here's to a 3-game winning streak! Or a two game winning streak...either one
  8. What may be a really good sign looking back at this series is the fact that Peavy looked so dominant against a team that pounded 28 in the two games after his start...so no one can use the ole "well it was the Royals" cliche'.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 6, 2010 -> 07:01 AM) I have to disagree about the Freddy looking good part. I don't know how he does it but he's somehow winning games while not looking very good doing so. It's called being a crafty veteran. He may not make us feel comfortable during the start, but he knows how to get outs.
  10. Overall a pretty good hitting series...for us. .275 team batting average (27-98) Pierre: 5-12 5 SB, BB, K, 5 RUNS Gordo: 1-7, SB 6BB, K, 2 RUNS Andrew: 3-12, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 2 RUNS, 2K, BB Paulie: 1-11, 1 RUN, DOUBLE, 2 K, 2BB, RBI Rios: 6-11, HR, 5 RBI, 3 DOUBLES, 2 RUNS, 0 K AJ: 3-10, HR, RBI, 2RUNS, 2 BB, 0 K Teahen: 4-12, RBI, DOUBLE, 5 K Alexei: 2-11, HR, RBI, 2 RUNS, 2 K, BB Carlos: 2-8, RBI, K Kotsay: 0-4 We outscored them 16-10...won a series. I think we're on the right track.
  11. And we win our second series. handshake, handshake, handshake
  12. 97-97-96 is what i have for the last 3 pitches.
  13. QUOTE (chisoxfan09 @ May 5, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) There even rumors about the Zen Master being a possibility which I doubt, they started cuz the Lakers owner wants him back but with a discount. It will be interesting until after the 1st of July in the NBA for sure. Phil ain't coming back.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ May 5, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) If Bulls got Calipari, I would say it's 75% likely James comes to the Bulls. Really?
  15. Lexi now 0-9 since starting the series 2-2.
  16. Double number 3 on the year for Mark Teahen.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 5, 2010 -> 09:11 PM) Unfortunately it's straight as an arrow. Yeah...thats absolutely right.
  18. We're going up there now just giving away AB's. It may not matter, but we're just going to regress after we showed such good signs earlier in the game.
