  1. All we have to do is have good at-bats, and work his pitch count up. If we knock him out after 5 or 6, that gives us a couple innings to pound on that bullpen bridge that leads to Soria.
  2. QUOTE (chisox2334 @ May 4, 2010 -> 10:20 AM) This will be a tough a game. Hocheaver does have good stuff. Hopefully he's a mental midget. His last start he was POUNDED in Tampa Bay. Something like 9 runs in 2 innings or something. Hopefully theres a carry over.
  3. I'm so happy. Floyd follows Peavys performance and gets outta his funk...I know this.
  4. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 3, 2010 -> 07:10 PM) The season turns...right now! Lets roll!
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 3, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) Psh, Farnsworth is not a weapon. Maybe weapon was the wrong word. But I would rather see Tejeda, Rupe, Parrish & company the rest of the series.
  6. I would guess Farnsworth would be done for the series now. He's a head case, but after Soria probably has the best stuff in their pen. Yet another weapon gone...
  7. Linebrink the only one warming right now lol...a little suspense? I mean, the last time Scott Pitched he was blowing a 5-1 lead...
  8. Why do we not move up to third on that one?
  9. Beautiful. 6 pitches from Thornton. Good to go tomorrow night if needed.
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 3, 2010 -> 09:11 PM) Ozzie didn't need to let Peavy throw this inning. And he doesn't need Thornton to pitch in a 5-0 game either. Sigh... I don't mind Thornton here. We gotta win this game.
  11. I bet Jake comes out for the 8th. 97 pitches.
  12. Hahaha....Peavy is so intense. Screaming at the home plate umpire as Callaspo's ball gets through for a hit.
  13. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 3, 2010 -> 08:50 PM) not putting a lot of stock into this game, peavy looks like 2009 peavy though I'm gonna go ahead and get my hopes up that this is the turning point.
