  1. Letting the Royals stick around is really f***ing stupid. Make f***ing contact, that's all you need there.
  2. QUOTE (beautox @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 09:01 PM) Also nice play by Micah earlier just rushed the throw as he learns the league he'll be fine if he can work on his hands his range will carry him on defense. That was a sick stop though but you gotta finish to end up on the highlight reel.
  3. Seriously why can't these guys take pitches and work counts?
  4. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 07:39 PM) haha f*** you Ventura. DUmbass. What did he do, I missed it.
  5. Didn't catch what happened that inning. Was Sale bad?
  6. QUOTE (shysocks @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 04:08 PM) Half the game is hitting anyway and none of the Royals' starters, Volquez' hot start and imminent pumpkin transofrmation notwithstanding, is setting the world on fire. I can see any result really, it just depends on if the Sox decide they want to score some runs this weekend. Yes, but you're worried about almost everything. Daily. Here's the lineup. Standard once more. Dan Hayes ‏@CSNHayes 16m16 minutes ago #WhiteSox lineup 4/23: Eaton 8, Cabrera 7, Abreu 3, LaRoche DH, Garcia 9, Gillaspie 5, Ramirez 6, Flowers 2, Johnson 4. Sale v. Ventura. The Sox just haven't been consistent enough in producing runs for me to be excited yet. That's why I am looking at pitching. Sale can shut down most offenses and give us a QS. Ventura isn't really ace material if you ask me but if they tack on some early runs, I could see Sale shutting down KC's offense. I do not feel the same about the other pitchers; you give them run support, they may very well give it back.
  7. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 04:00 PM) I'll take a split. But, at home, I think we have to take 3 of 4. Where are you seeing the pitching for that?
  8. When is the last time the Sox swept someone? The pitching matchups are sketchy. 2-2 seems most likely.
  9. Cub fans are predictable. Why are we surprised they slurped up the kool-aid?
  10. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 02:40 PM) After the Hawks and Bulls bring home trophies in June, and the Sox add one in October, there's going to be a lot of pressure on the Bears to complete the collection. The hex is real.
  11. Q had a bad outing. Look at what Anibal Sanchez is doing today. 6IP 1ER.
  12. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 11:59 AM) Yeah... The face for the two is ~100 at the discounted STH price. I'm looking for 60 for the pair but open if anyone wants to PM an offer. Listen if you have tickets like this in the future, give me notice and I'll pay that price.
  13. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 10:23 AM) If anyone needs a pair of tickets let me know. Section 127, row 17, behind the 1st base dugout on deck circle. Grrrrr. I wish I had notice, I would totally take you up on that.
  14. QUOTE (shysocks @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 10:41 AM) Yeah Butler smacks Sale around and he's out of the picture. Hosmer and Moustakas have been pitiful, with a .464 and .450 OPS. Alcides Escobar and Lorenzo Cain have done pretty well (.937, .946). Yeesh. Atleast Sale is pretty good at controlling the running game, right?
  15. That schedule is just brutal. Good thing the Bears are not going to be competitive this year. Get that draft position up.
  16. QUOTE (Dunt @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 09:18 AM) Sale (2-0, 2.25) vs. Ventura (2-1, 4.80) Take 3 or 4 here. f*** these dirtbag Royals. I was reading through twitter last night and Royals fans were convinced they will hit Sale and get a win tonight. I think Sale is ready to deal and gets 13-14 K's. It's funny because I think the guy who did the most damage against Sale is now playing for A's. I don't see anyone in the line up that poses a significant threat to Sale. Moose and Hosmer should be auto outs. They'll get hits but I don't think they'll be able to string too many together.
  17. Motherf***er! Have the Yanks always had his number?
  18. Offense did well against a good pitcher. We've been here before, let's hope they wake the f*** up.
  19. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:48 PM) Yeah, I don't think Duke will be able to pitch tomorrow if we need him Chris goes 9 tomorrow. He hates the Royals.
  20. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Apr 22, 2015 -> 03:40 PM) Duke pitched yesterday, why waste him on a 6 run lead? Let Albers or Putnam pitch. #robinventura
