My new favorite Fu-ku-do-me is 2-3 so far. Mr. April...Ventura should ride that. Dang, Hafner just hit a dinger. At least we wasn't last inning with runners on. C'mon Dankster..shut these weaklings down. This is Cleveland, not Texas. -

Wow, that was ugly, inefficient, rocky...but still it is another 0 on the board for Clevelanders. -

Just beat up on the Twins, Indians, and Royals. I think that we are better than those teams. Go .500 against the Tiggs. Overall, this isn't a strong division and that is why the White Sox should at least be above .500 -

Great inning by Danks. This is what he should be doing. And only 25 pitches through 2 innings. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 11:22 AM) Lefties usually hit Danksy better than righties because his changeup works better on righties, don't forget. Maybe. Last year, Danks did little better against lefties. But in his career, yes lefties have better numbers. But this is Cleveland. Danks should dominate this lineup. Gift run there with bad defense. -

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 11:18 AM) No excuses for Danks today. This has to be a win today. I agree. As long as the defense is adequate. Danks is our ace right now and he has to shut down their weak, lefty-filled lineup. -

QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 11:15 AM) Almost a 2B for AJ, but either way it gets Paulie home. 4-0 with 1 out in the first. Nice! Oh, yeah. This is our best inning offensive so far this year. Crooked number going up on that board. Get to their bullpen early. -

QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 10:55 AM) Just clouds, no precipitation yet or likely in the coming hours (according to weather.com, anyway) I hope that they get this in. Indians aren't hitting at all right now (nobody in their lineup above .250) and 6 lefties. Danks should do well. Maybe we can win 1-0 or 2-1. Better yet get the Indians bullpen in there early and score some runs. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 04:32 PM) Yeah, I'm not 100% sure they'll run Masterson out there tomorrow if they don't need to. Its going to be cold and windy, its early in the season, etc. I guess we'll see what they decide. We stay on rotation, right? Humber vs. Masterson or Gomez. They might use Gomez b/c he has pitched well against the White Sox. Or they might use Masterson who has pitched well against the White Sox. lol.

AJ is sligthly underrated around here. He calls a good game. Sale credited him yesterday for calling a good game. As long as pitcher throws what AJ calls and where AJ wants it, they are usually going to have a good game. Yeah, I wish he could throw out runner better and I have seen him drop the ball when trying to block the plate at the same time. However, he usually is good at knocking balls down in the dirt and working with pitchers. And durable like the original post said. he went on the DL for the first time ever last year.
-
On paper, this doesn't look like a good matchup to us. But let us tear up that paper and win this game. Go White Sox! Humber, humber break their lumber put them into a slumber looking dumb and dumber and keep lowering your ERA number Fill Up Humber.

QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:54 PM) 4 hits for Rangers. 3 home runs...why do the hits that Gavin gives up get hit so damn hard? Not good. Might as well get the pen some work soon. Nate Jones make your debut.
-
QUOTE (KG#1 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:50 PM) Son of a . . . Come on offense. Do something. Well 103 pitches for Harrison. That has to be it for him. Hope the Rangers bullpen sucks tonite.
-
Nice walking by Alex Rios!
-
Wasn't pretty but got the job done. If Gavin can have a scoreless 6th, he will match the performances of Danks and Peavy. That wouldn't be too bad considering how good the Texas offense is. But still we need to put up a crooked number this inning.
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) One team won the AL last year. One did not. Pretty happy with what were doing so far. Well we have had a runner reach 3rd the last two innings. We are getting warmer. We are going to break through the next inning.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:28 PM) De Aza looks pretty awful against LHP. yeah. tlb should have been starting today and that could have been his ab.
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:25 PM) Wow, very nice Escobar! Good one Mr. Ed!
-
Still time to comeback. Need to get something off of Harrison though.
-
PK has struggled against Harrison. I think 1 for 13 now. Somebody else has to get the big hit. I was hoping Konerko walked or hit a SF.
-
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) jesus That is right. Happy Easter.
-
Bend it like Beckham. Our first hit from the 2 spot. Sweet! Cmon Dunn ..hr or walk.
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 07:46 PM) Right down the middle. Horrible pitch. Well that was bitter. At least there was nobody on base.
-
Wow, that wasn't a good inning. Hopefully next inning with Dunn&Konerko coming up. Keep dealing Floyd!
-
Gavin bringing it today. TEE will be making his first plate appearance this year. Do something dramatic.
