Yeah it should be great. I know a few ppl who r doin da course from High School so that should be good. Unfortunately since it's a 2nd round offa, I gotta do a new timetable and choose new subjects all ova again, but it's a betta course with a higher ENTER score so I'm really stoked.
  6. Also this on Maggs from ESPN, he has da 3rd most hits of any player in this century so far. 3. Magglio Ordonez 747 .314 And look at this stat, Most GIDPs -- Paul Konerko 84, Magglio Ordonez 83
  7. Oops I meant Center. Sorry I dunno what I was thinkin, Ichiro said he would only move to Center, if they acquired a Maggs type franchise player to replace him in right as well.
  8. It depends whether or not he can handle playin Centre Field in da majors, cos he's not goin to hav enough home run production to justify bein a corner outfielder.
  9. Well it depends if Seattle sign Greg Maddux or not. They were afta I-Rod, can't get him now, so if they can't get sign Maddux, then they'd try to make a trade for Maggs, Beltran or Jenkins movin Ichiro to Center.
  10. Excellent week for u and me so far Southsider. We are killin da father/son combo.
  11. Tennis Australia is goin to do all they can to keep the Open goin in Janaury since that's when it's School Holidays hence bigger crowds and more tickets sold. But the players do deserve more of a rest, mayb they should move the Masters Series final earlier and allow for a bigga break that way.
  12. Very tough decision. I just don't think Gibbs is gonna stand for Winslow's lack of maturity. So I'll go with Harris, since they really need help on da D-Line.
  13. Don't worry, he'll start in week 1, get sacked bout 10 times, and get a concussion, forcin Bulger to start again.

For any1 who was wonderin, today I did get a 2nd round offa to study Commerce at Deakin Univeristy down here which is bout 5 mins from my house which is great. I'll probably major in Accounting or Sports Management, haven't decided yet.
  15. From the Chicago Sun - Times, Another day, another trade rumor involving the White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, this one saying Frank Thomas might be set to go Hollywood. A Newsday report over the weekend seemed to have spawned radio reports Tuesday that the Sox will send Thomas to the Dodgers for left-handed pitcher Odalis Perez. With the Dodgers in need of offensive help and the Sox holding a vacancy in the starting rotation, the rumor would seem to be valid. Except... "If there is ever an offer for Frank or any of our players, it's my duty to listen,'' general manager Ken Williams said Wednesday. "But there is no offer as we sit here today.'' At SoxFest last weekend, Williams said no deals are on the radar screen and told a packed room of about 2,500 fans that Carlos Lee and Magglio Ordonez will not be traded. Thomas, who has the right to refuse a trade, and Paul Konerko would be the most likely players to be dealt, but only if a team offers the Sox something they like. Williams continually has said he is not shopping his core players.
  16. Nothin like gettin sum free plug on da net. Nice work there Mike.
  17. Well the pressure will definitely be on Foulke to perform in Boston, it wouldn't suprise me at all if he choked quite a bit down there. Pitchin in places like Boston and New York can almost ruin a guy's career if they can't handle da heat, just Jeff Weaver, Byung - Hyung Kim etc.
  18. If Cliff Pollite ends up bein our #5 starter, don't be hopeful of anythin good. He'll be our righty set-up guy in da pen, take ova from Flash "Gimme 1 month in da Bronx to blow out my arm" Gordon.
  19. I think when one of ur discs is out of place or sumthin to that extent and it puts pressure on ur spinal cord, but what would I know, I ain't a chiropractor.

  21. Hey Cheat, do u know why there isn't a border around my siggy. I know the orignial 1 u posted had 1.
  22. Look what Rob Neyer wrote, Something else about the NHL I didn't know ... the good fans in Chicago really, really don't like whoever owns the Blackhawks. How do we know this? Again, there are 121 teams, and here are the bottom three, as ranked by "Ownership": 119 Brewers 120 Blackhawks 121 Expos So you've got the Blackhawks, and a couple of teams owned by Bud Selig.
  23. Jamie Moyer Joel Pineiro Gil Meche Ryan Franklin Juilio Mateo would jump up into their rotation.
  24. Here is another scouting report, 2003 Season The Mariners' biggest find of the season was Rafael Soriano. He'd missed most of the second half of 2002 with a strained shoulder, and failed to make the team out of camp in 2003. He spent a couple of weeks with the big club in late April and early May, was recalled in mid-June and went on to become perhaps the most effective reliever in the majors over the second half. By mid-August, he'd established himself as the Mariners' top setup man. Pitching & Defense With a lively mid-90s fastball and a hard slider, Soriano has the stuff to throw the ball past hitters, and he does. Command had held him back in the past, but he made great strides last year. Pitching relief seemed to suit him perfectly, as he could go full-throttle for an inning at a time and leave his work-in-progress changeup in his back pocket. He is reputed to be a capable fielder, although actual trials have been rare. He ignores baserunners and gets the out at the plate. 2004 Outlook Soriano is expected to assume a larger role as soon as possible. He could join the rotation if a spot opens up, or serve as the closer if needed. Either way, there's no limit on what he might do.
  25. Rafael Soriano went 3-0 with a 1.53 ERA in 2003. He had 68 K's and only 12 BB's. This is from John Sickels, Promoting Soriano directly to Seattle from Double-A sounded risky to me, but he's done very well so far for the Mariners, posting a 3.60 ERA. Anyone who has seen him pitch can attest to his nasty stuff, as well as his mound presence and fluid delivery. Can he keep it up? In 30 innings, he's allowed just 18 hits. He's fanned 21 while walking eight. The biggest warning sign in his statistical record is six homers allowed; he really needs to keep people off base if he's going to be giving up a tater per game, but so far he's been able to do that. If he stays healthy, Soriano has a good chance to post Freddy Garcia-like numbers down the road.
