  1. And even after he got good he struggled. It's fine. no worries yet
  2. The ability to like posts is the best part of this update. I'm being extremely generous with them.
  3. I always forget the L! Always. Since high school. lol
  4. Ah, to live in greg's head. you must think baseball players are dumb. We all know what this is. Rick Hahn makes it clear to the coaches and the players what this is. Jesus, greg! Do you honestly think the players are stupid?
  5. You try doing your job after having watched your coworker have a massive brain bleed right in front of you. Oh wait. You can't.
  6. While that's probably a lot of it, I'm not sure I could do my job very well having witnessed what they did in the dugout. Professional baseball players (like Professional Engineers or any other profession) are not accustomed to watching their coworkers go from all good and happy to fighting for their lives.
  7. That's definitely a fair assessment.
  8. No one is doing this anymore. 30+ year old free agents are having a hell of a time finding jobs. Your way doesn't work anymore.
  9. Coming to a Soxtalk.com near you
  10. As happy as a 2014 Astros fan. Greg, I'm just asking you to have a little foresight. You were the only one interested in winning 79 games with a team of 30+ year olds missing the playoffs.
  11. I do love me a good greg take. It's like watching Undisputed for Sox fans without cable.
  12. In fairness, we're playing the reigning champions. we have KC coming up, so expect a win or two.
  13. Would you say it's... ... Offensive ?
  14. Tweets working. It's a little weird though
  15. Change your title to "Very Unstable Tweets" ?
  16. You don't need it with this roster. The only chemistry you care about right now is the middle infield (both new guys). Pitching chemistry? Reylo is going to be fine.
  17. Okay. Let's repeat this a few more times. There are two (2) or three (3) players on this team that will be on the "winning" White Sox. Chemistry between 20+ people you won't have soon and the three guys that matter is not that important. Did the Astros go too far with "this tank stuff"? What about the Cubs? The Braves? No. No they didn't.
  18. Tim Anderson has been good enough for me to watch.
  19. People always say that "expect the worst, hope for the best" adage, but the reality is in sports you just hope for the best. There's no need to expect the worst. Basically, no one can blame you for being optimistic because there really is no point being pessimistic
  20. Before this blows up, I meant 2 or 3 on the current roster. I do agree with this post, however.
  21. Balta: He's upset. It can only get ugly.
  22. Exactly. It's a product of almost a decade of going for it and failing. We haven't had a farm in years. This season is the bottom of it. People need to start looking at the minor league performances in our organization. Micker Adolfo is making a killing right now.
  23. Ahem. Rebuild. Rebuild. There are two or three sox players of the future on this roster.
