The pitching is really bad, but I can't imagine this team wins less than 60. "on pace" or not, the Sox will go on a run of some sort.

This statement is completely missing the big picture. Until the MLB sets more regulations, it's in the best interest of teams that aren't going to win the World Series to tank. The Sox are doing the right thing.

The good news is, we might actually be the most prepared in the minors with pitching. Our pitching prospects have looked pretty good so far. Unfortunately, that doesn't help this team.

Agreed. Rebuilds are trying times. Cubs fans didn't get it early on. You get it, I get it. Almost everyone here gets it. There are a handful of exceptions. It doesn't get any easier, but the "we should have gone for it every year" crowd is kind of obnoxious.

Ah, to live in greg's head. you must think baseball players are dumb. We all know what this is. Rick Hahn makes it clear to the coaches and the players what this is. Jesus, greg! Do you honestly think the players are stupid?

You try doing your job after having watched your coworker have a massive brain bleed right in front of you. Oh wait. You can't.

While that's probably a lot of it, I'm not sure I could do my job very well having witnessed what they did in the dugout. Professional baseball players (like Professional Engineers or any other profession) are not accustomed to watching their coworkers go from all good and happy to fighting for their lives.

That's definitely a fair assessment.

No one is doing this anymore. 30+ year old free agents are having a hell of a time finding jobs. Your way doesn't work anymore.
