This is a bad time for a valley. There's no doubt. This is extremely frustrating and being a few days away from the playoffs magnifies things. At the same time, calling the lineup garbage and chokers, saying they'll be killed, assuming they're weak minded, etc is not only assumptive but dumb as fuck.. and if you sit there and say all of that yet still watch, you're dumber than I thought and that's saying something. I would've liked to see Crochet there. At 110, I think I would've taken my chances with Crochet and his 102 mph fastball especially in that scenario where they needed a strikeout

Here is my problem with Robert. When he came up Benetti and Stone and everyone else said "don't groove a fastball." Including this slump, he really never hit any fastballs this year. He made a killing off of an occasional heater and mostly hangers. I'm a little concerned that he's going to continue to not hit fastballs. Relying on a hanger isn't a good plan

I'm both aggravated as f*** right now and also sympathic toward him because I bet he feels awful.. yet I feel awful for having to watch him miss baseballs defensively and swing without contact repeatedly offensively

Yelling is necessary if a team is playing lazy, making mental errors, etc. These guys just aren't hitting. I was one who wanted more starts for McCann, but now he can't hit for shit nor can he catch a pop up. It's simply a slump at a poor time
