In your world the Sox will have like an 74 man pitching staff. Buehrle, Garland, and Wright are in. That's 3 of the 5 spots taken up. We know Ritchie is going to be back and most likely in the mix for one of the two spots. So if you get Lidle, your done. I know, I know, "they can move Todd to the pen" but they won't.

Here's what he thinking Mr. Soxtalk GM: He has to cut 5 million or so in payroll. Lee makes 3 or 4 million so why would he trade Lidle, who makes 3 or so for a guy making the same or more? That does nothing for them. You get Johnson for cheap, and maybe a Rowand or something like that and your looking at trading Lidle and his 3 million for Rowand and Johnson at 800,000 or so a year. Thus slashing about 2.2 million. Gotta go gang.

That 42 point quarter killed them. They have to stop falling behind by 15 or more points, I've seen them do that at least 3 times now. Anyway, they'd like to move Crawford, but he has to be playing well for that to happen. Since he doesn't get in the games for long, he doesn't play that well, thus doing noting to help his trade value.
