  1. If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be? John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else? Vote here: http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/pages/stairway_to_heaven
  2. Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was #1 on the day we were born. My number #1's are: 'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US 'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK 'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia See which songs you get http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/birthdayno1
  3. Neil Young is the man, along with Dylan, he's always done whatever he wanted and made great records, (most the time).
  4. We stayed nearby in Lee Vining and drove into the park.just an amazing place. Took some great pics of the lakes and mountains, I would like to go back and camp in the park.
  5. I read about that as well, great story. I think as time went on they would've played a one off or maybe toured. Maybe they would've played at Live Aid?

We did try that a few years back and got told off by the vet! We are now on tinned dog food.
  7. So many bands have reformed, I'm pleased that some can't due to members now being on the great gig in the sky. The Beatles spring to mind. I bet if Lennon hadn't been shot and Harrison was still with us, The Beatles would've reformed, which I'm sure would of been a disaster!
