If you could bring a dead rock star back to life
If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be? John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else? Vote here: http://www.thisdayinmusic.com/pages/stairway_to_heaven

Neil Young is the man, along with Dylan, he's always done whatever he wanted and made great records, (most the time).

I read about that as well, great story. I think as time went on they would've played a one off or maybe toured. Maybe they would've played at Live Aid?

2012-13 Music Thread
So many bands have reformed, I'm pleased that some can't due to members now being on the great gig in the sky. The Beatles spring to mind. I bet if Lennon hadn't been shot and Harrison was still with us, The Beatles would've reformed, which I'm sure would of been a disaster!
