most announcers don't have 1/2 the passion for the team as hawk does. It's nice to have an announcer that's a fan of the team he covers.

even though it would be cool to see them in the NC, there's no reason they should be, they haven't played a team in the top 25 ALL SEASON, they play in one of the worst conferences in football. I'm positive it will be Oklahoma-USC and Oklahoma will win in a blowout.

Having U of I change it's logo is insane. The only logo that I would really find offensive if i were a native american would be the Cleveland Indians, because.....just look at it. And by the way, I'm hoping to get into U of I for next year, I already sent in the application, now I'm just stalking the mailman......er I mean waiting patiently for my result to come back

Good article and I agree totally. We needed to take a chance this year, the quiet manager type would have meant the same result this year. I was happy w/ ozzie coming here, hopefully he stands by what he said at the press conference and will get on our guys asses

As far as I'm concerned the Twins have showed, earned and proven that they are the Division Champs and the team to beat in the division and until someone dethrones them, they should be. Everyone else should be working their way up to beat them. I do have a lot of confidence for next season cause this team doesn't have many holes. hell, if we don't win it next year look for this team to be broken up, if they can't do anything with this talent, let's start all over.

I never played those board games you are talking about, but yes these games are based on stats. In Out of the Park, all players are given talent ratings, rookies will progress through the minors and depending on your minors coach, his rating will increase.

The only big signing I would expect is Ponson, the rest is just average Rios-Daubach type guys probably.

yeah they're all PC baseball simulation games. Think of Allstar Baseball for PS2 with just simming the games. If you didn't look for 'em your not going know about 'em.
