Every fanbase has a large faction of fans who hate trading away the prospects. I get it. The potential of good prospects is tantalizing. But at some point you do need to trade away some of your best chips to make it to the promised land.

I think other GMs would feel the way you do Cali. 2nd base isn't particularly hard to fill. Madrigal doesn't have a very high ceiling due to his complete lack of power and his lack of elite speed. I don't think his value is all that high

I would definitely do this trade. Lopez looks like a bust, Yermin is blocked by others, and 2nd base is one of the easiest positions to fill. Not sure that's enough, though.
