I went on X and looked up his name and saw Rowand on a podcast explaining. I guess last year he had to cancel a trip with friends because of airline issues so he got a credit that lasted a year so they booked another trip with friends for the weekend before knowing the Reunion dates and couldn't switch it.

any word on why Rowand wasn't there? He was the only starter missing I believe

I will stick by saying it is tough playing for a shitty team with no hope, it brings you down and your stats down a ton. On a good team that is winning ballgames, you look forward to going to the park more and you just are into the game more

please don't make Baldwin ride the bench. We have a lot of fun young pieces, play them all. Taylor, Slater, & Rojas should not be playing often

Yeah ultimately it doesn't matter but would rather Taylor have the success to go off of. If he is closer of the future, he won't be doing two inning saves very often.

I am fine with 2 innings during a game but closing is just a different animal, you use the adrenaline to help. You get 3 outs and then you go sit down for 10 min, it kind of ruins that and makes it a lot tougher. Especially when it isn't something he is use to at this level.

There is a reason most guys don't do 2 inning saves, especially a rookie against the best team in the league

His motion and him having to dial it down a bit, I just can't see him having the same success but it certainly is possible

Refreshing to have a guy with this kind of stuff out of the bullpen. I can't see him being a starter but hopefully he gets a shot

He isn't a great interviewer and he really doesn't have that big of a platform at this point with most of Barstool moving to Chicago, he is more a background figure at this point but if he is able to bring White Sox guys in and show a different side of them, I am all for that.

Just two of us, forcing my wife to go up to Chicago for the weekend lol That is typically what I do most of the time. Just not sure which game to go to at this point. We come in Thursday evening and leave Sunday morning so not sure if I want to go to a late afternoon game which would basically take up the whole day by the time we get back to the city. Weather looks pretty decent so far for an afternoon game especially if we get shaded seats.

Now I am not sure which game. Originally we were going to go to the 11th for the unveiling of the statue but Saturday is going to have pregame with the 05 team and the statue which will be tough to get

They went into the Barstool office last week and were on a couple shows. It is so refreshing to see some likeable guys on this team, gives me some hope

It has been a few years since I have gone to a game, I saw rumors they stopped checking tickets to enter the 100 level. Is that true? I love the seats behind home plate up high but I am planning on going for Buehrle's statue reveal and would like to go down to 100 if possible

I will just never get the argument playing guys like Capra, Rojas, Noda over guys like Baldwin and Elko. We aren't competing, might as well see what the guys can do, if they suck who the f*** cares? Maybe they can make adjustments similar to Vargas, you just don't know. But you know what you have with the other 3, they also have no trade value anyways so what is the point
