Watching PHI/ATL on Peacock now and it is behind MLB gameday by like 15-20 seconds or 2 pitches

Sousa has dominated us lol Also their starters go a lot longer in games

Only going 12 pitchers is a choice especially when we use a ton of pitching typically but I guess it is only 3 games. You are literally putting Acuna on there to hopefully pinch run late in the game and Pham on there to possibly pinch hit a couple times

I mentioned him yesterday who I thought would be a possibility and two posters didn't even know who I was talking about when I just said Smith lol

He has had three days rest which he hadn't had much of lately so I think it is a solid move to hopefully give us 2 innings. I assume if he is struggling with a control they will have Sandlin or Fedde ready to go

Haven't scored a run off him this year in 4 innings

I still would start Sandlin and just have him on a short leash and only expect him to go 2. Or I see us opening with Newcomb

is this official? Peter Lambert did pitch 2 innings yesterday so I would assume he wouldn't be long for a game. We have to win game 1 to have a chance IMO. Brown and Wesneski are tough pitchers

Astros offense does scare me a bit. They have some really tough hitters at the top of the lineup, obviously Alvarez is the MVP but now you have a really hot bat in Spence towards the bottom of the lineup

It will either be the Rangers or Astros depending on what happens tomorrow If we go off of who pitched Thursday for each team, the Rangers would be starting Rocker and the Astros would be starting Peter Lambert, obviously that could change. Tomorrow the Rangers are throwing Gore so he is unlikely to be available for the series, maybe a few innings for Game 3. Astros are still TBD for tomorrow but Ethan Pecko is the next guy up so that would be a bullpen game for them
